| I feel bad for Nets fans. Ron Burgundy must kick the TV a few times after every Nets game he watches. | |

| As bad as I feel for the Nets, I think the Warriors are actually a worse team right now. My NBA bottom 5 right now looks like this:
Kings Nets Timberwolves Warriors Grizzlies

| Nets shouldn't have traded Vince Carter. They were almost in the playoffs last year or the year before. Why would you trade your play maker and leader of the team when you have nothing else but scrubs. That's like the Lakers trading Kobe. | |

| A move to save some $ and prepare for the future. This is Devin Harris' team now, and its an opportunity for the other young players like Terrence Williams, Courtney Lee, and Brook Lopez to improve their game and get some experience before the Nets attempt to bring in a top free agent or free agents this off-season. | |

| They have plenty of time to improve, but as of the next few seasons it won't be pretty.
Sorry Nets fans. | |

| You don't think they'll get the big name free agent they're looking for this off-season? | |

| I don't think so. I think they don't want any older players. They have a pretty young team and I think they want to build off of that. | |

| That would surprise me if they didn't attempt to make a move this coming off-season. They have the most cap room in the NBA, and the young players that would attract NBA stars. I could see them picking up 1 or 2 of the NBA's more prominent free agents next summer. | |

| almost everybody on the Nets is injured
Chris Douglas Roberts,Yi Jianlian,Devin Harris,even Courtney Lee
they are down to 8 men on the roster. I think the young players have a ton of potential but this season has been a mess so far. I still think in 2 years they'll be really good team. Now it's just not clicking
They will win more games when they get healthy

| I doubt that a big name player would end up on the Nets next season. Realistically speaking, I would assume that a good player at most, not a superstar player, would want to play for the Nets. | |

| Starters currently injured for the Nets:
Harris CDR Lee Yi
others: Hayes Dooling Battie
They'll be alright when they get healthy. Unlike the Warriors and Grizzlies are already healthy.

anybody can beat the Nets with 4 of 5 starters plus 4 reserves injured. this has got to be the most injuries I've ever seen on one roster to start a year

Without Devin Harris,Courtney Lee,CDR,and Yi Jianlin who other than Brook Lopez and Terrence Williams would actually score some points?

| Here's the list of injuries my friend: Core Stars Hurt and out for a some games Antawn Jamison - dislocated shoulder because of Ilguaskas. He seems to be ready to go but isn't playing as a precaution. Starters/Core Bench Players hurt and out of games Mike Miller - Sprained shoulder, out for a week, hopefully back for this Saturday Randy Foye - Sprained ankle, likely out on Saturday, maybe more. Other Role Players/Bench Warmers Hurt and Out of Games Javaris Crittenton - bad ankle, out for at least one more month. Mike James, broken finger, out for at least one month. Banged up players who haven't missed significant action... yet Caron Butler - had a bruised knee and missed a game, maybe that threw him off rhythm. Gilbert Arenas - strained left calf, was supposed to miss yesterday's game (the bum knee was his left btw), and always puts ice on it while on the bench. Maybe he really isn't injured but still, nobody else does that in a game except him. That's half of the roster. Most guys of course are rotation players, minus Critt and James. | |

| I'll give you that. We at least have 60% of the starting lineup playing in an offense they can't play for their lives (Arenas, Butler, Haywood) | |
