Both teams come off of opening wins against Dallas and Indy, both playoff contenders, and also both teams are considered to be contenders for home court advantage for the 1st round of the playoffs with the potential for Eastern Conference Finals appearances or better.

Who wins? Atlanta since they're gettin' more country home cookin', or the Wizards because they beat a better team on the road than the team the Hawks beat at home?

I picked the Hawks because they're at home. they have the edge on the front court with Smith, Zaza, and Big Al

I want the Wizards to win of course, but I think the Hawks want to get this win more since they're at LA tomorrow against the Kobes, while the Wizards may be looking forward to a spooky home opener tomorrow against the Nets.

Johnson with 4 steals and Smith with 5 are both coming off of strong defensive performances. Also, Horford's 16 rebounds and Horford, Smith, and Williams's 6 blocks (each had 2) are all major performences. Along with the combined 49 points from Johnson and Horford, the Hawks are hot (no homo).

Anyhoo, I see the Hawks winning by 9 points - Joe Johnson and Mike Bibby in particular, I predict, should play really well and be the reasons why they take this game.

Arenas is playing very sloppy today...

Blatche is having solid offensive numbers again but is having a -17 +/- rating right now.

No Hawk is being exceptional yet, but Crawford is a guy who is infamous for torching us every night..

Only good thing from this game is ofcourse, Gilbert looked nice again, and caron and antawn didn't play and we only lost by 11!

Gilbert was 9-22 with 7 turnovers and was blocked 6 times.

but can you honestly say he wasn't fouled on all 6 of the blocks? And his TO's were his teammates not expecting the pass and 2 lost jumpballs which count as a TO.

You're right. Gilbert is perfect. He possibly can't do something wrong. None of the turnovers were his fault. The refs hate him so they didn't call fouls.

If you watched the game you know gilbert played nice, In the last 2 minutes we were down 10 and gilbert starting chucking to try and get some points up, Stats don't tell everything, unless you saw the game you may shutup!
