2008-2009 the New York Knicks won the season opener against longtime heated rivals the Miami Heat. Coming into the 2009-2010 season where the Knicks would face the Heat once more in the season opener the Knicks have won 13 of the last 17 games against the Miami Heat. Hopefully, the Knicks could continue this dominance of Miami and start the season like they did last year in a strong fashion. Knicks started off the season winning 6 of their first 9 games, but trades, not being used to the uptempo style Mike D's system brings being that it was NY's 1st year getting acclaimated to the system, and unfortunate injuries slowed the Knicks down in the end. However, they enjoyed a +9 win total in the overall standings last season from a season ago and they are 1 year in Mike D's system already, so both of these are things to build upon and ensure success.

To me every month is basketball season
