Bring back the old users?

Like contact them via fb, twitter, or w/e and tell them to come back! It's not like they're doing anything with their sad lives so they should like come back...

We have a decent amount of users.
More would be better.

Its just we don't have much basketball to talk about.

And there is no Games going on.

Yeah we do need to step up the recruiting. We can't just get users and then not recruit. You gotta keep advertising even at the height of your popularity because users come and go, especailly go all the time. Man. This kinda sucks :/

it's gonna be crazy hard to reccruit with all the other forums out there that are better than RBT.

I'm probably the only one who REALLY tried recruiting here.

maybe a few others did...

I signed up for over 10 forums and advertised RBT just to get banned, Emailed a bunch [over 50] of Y!A users who weren't trolls to sign up here, and only 2 did...

RBT just isn't as attractive as other forums.

unless users from here get together and make our own site... RBT is probably done.

I'm part of a chicago sports forum and they pay to make it look top notch.

Other sites that you don't need to pay for, you have to be really good at making sites. Then there's free forums like RBt.

We're a bunch of teenagers and 20-25 year olds (and Nick).

I hate to put it so gloomy, but there's no way we can get a website where we have to pay.
And even if we could...I doubt anybody would want to pay. I love RBT and have been here from the start, but I wouldn't want to take my 25 cents above minimum wage and hour earnings and use it for an RBT website. I doubt many other people do either, unless they make a shitton of money.

Advertising is really the only option I see that could be used. And that never works.

so what do we do.. leave RBT?
