Spurs traded away George Hill to Indiana for Khawi Leonard?

I actually like this trade, but then again I don't at the same time. Khawi was one of my favorite players to watch this year, and he definitely is a hard worker and a good rebounded, and plays harder for his size then you'd think. I really liked George Hill though, he was a great player who did work for us when we needed it, and when Parker was out or wasn't doing well. I think that this is a little risky of a trade because Parker is still shaky on getting traded regardless he wants to stay. I guess we'll just have to see what happens!

I am really going to miss him. His defense was valuable to us at times and he was just a hard worker in general. He was my favourite Spurs right after Gino/Duncan of course.

And btw, why aren't the Spurs drafting/trading for big men? Last time I checked, that was one of our significant weaknesses? We seem to be kinda loading up on wings/guards here...errm...

Exactly what I was wondering, I like that we picked up Khawi Leonard, I think he'll be a great SF for us, although I don't know why we aren't trying to get some big men or at least trade for one (Let's get rid of Jefferson now and develop Khawi). Let's just see how they take their 2nd round pick, we always do well with those. *Cough* DeJuan Blair and Manu Ginobili *Cough*

George Hill will be their starting point guard, hes better than Collison and I think he'll fit in good. It's more questionable for the Spurs though, I don't argue with what we do though, it USUALLY ends up good.

yeah, he may be better than Collison.. but they just traded for Collisona year ago. Also their backup AJ price is pretty solid too... Idk why they nwanted a PG that bad.

yeah, he may be better than Collison.. but they just traded for Collisona year ago. Also their backup AJ price is pretty solid too... Idk why they nwanted a PG that bad.

Paul George and Brandon Rush are 2 solid SG's too so it is kind of weird that they got George Hill cause even if they played him @ SG instead of PG they have 2 that do admirably off the bench. Something they have in mind Rush, Price, or George may get traded.

They definitely got a trade in mind. They have a bunch of "solid players" at the guard spot, but nobody who can really take over.
