| Jazz have a good shot at being a good team again next year...
Devin Harris + Paul Milsap + Al Jefferson + 3rd pick? | |

Devin Harris + Paul Milsap + Al Jefferson + 3rd pick? too bad none of those guys play D haha. It will probably be Derrick Williams unless the cavs take him at #1. If the cavs do take williams, I see the Jazz taking Irving at #3. what they really need though is a defensive big and another scorer. | |

they had to give up their first round pick if any team was gonna take Baron's contract.
Also, who would have guessed that pick would end up being the #1 overall pick? There was a 2.8% chance of it happening but is Mo really worth a lotto pick... I mean really... | |

No. But that's not the point. Before the deadline, the cavs were looking to get a lottery pick. The clippers were looking to trade davis because of his bad contract.. No one wanted davis.... unless the clippers were willing to give up something else, such as their pick. At the time, I remember someone mentioning how the clippers didn't want the pick anyway because they have a lot of young players that they're trying to develop and they don't need anymore... and they didn't think they would get anyone worth it after the 5th pick. Right now, it looks like a terrible trade... but only cuz it ended up being the 1st pick. | |

| http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2011/news/story?id=6603100Cavs working on getting the second pick. Trade rumors: Cavs get: Rip hamilton, Detroits 8th pick Detroit gets: Trade exception from CLE. Then CLE trades the 8th pick and their 4th pick for Minny's second pick. CLE will then buy out Hamilton's contract and draft Irving and Williams | |

| For a draft that is supposedly 'weak' the Cavs have been going all out seeing as how the draft is the only legit way for this team to get any better Weak draft or not Derrick Williams and Kyrie Irving sound good to me (Plus if Derrick turns out to be a good PF at the next level that makes JJ expendable next season, along with Tawns huge contract) The new Cavs GM is doing a great job so far IMO | |

| overall, it is a weak draft.... but Irving and Williams are still great players. You have to figure that ONE of them will help turn the team around. | |

| Hickson, the same guy the Cavs were reluctant to give up for Amare :l
But still if the 3 way deal pans out they replace him with Williams
Detroits getting enough though with the TPE as the best player they can get at their pick is maybe Kawhi Leonard :l | |

| Why don't the Cavs keep Hickson and play Williams at SF? Trade Sessions and Samuels to the Pistons.
Find a starting C/Varejao, Hickson/Jamison, Williams, Shooting Guard(play small ball w/ baron here? parker? Marshon Brooks?) and Kyrie/Baron is a little too sexy to pass up. | |

| I like the idea of trading Sessions/Samuels to Detroit, we are getting Kyrie anyways
Plus Sessions is a total beast so that should help out Detroit

| yeah, and they get a big man with potential. But the Cavs gotta keep JJ imo. He is a proven talent. If they have to give him up to get the no. 2, don't do it.
-----
Also.... if the Cavs trade Sessions.. that gives them Baron and Kyrie(Boobie's a SG). Meaning they have room for one more PG. Aka Norris Cole.
