Gary Payton might not look like he can guard normal built shooting guards but he held MJ to his worst percentage in the finals between the Sonics and Bulls
Dumars was the best defensive player in the late 80's (along with maybe Pippen) and was somewhat the anchor on the perimeter of the bad boys defense

Oh yea. It also helps that these two guys both have nicknames about their d and are known as the two best MJ defenders
