The only person i had in mind was Nash I'd take Kevin Johnson or Dennis Johnson ahead of Cousy. Hell, I'd take Chris Paul before Cousy; I don't think people are going to vote on how much historical value a guy has, they're going to vote on how well they can actually play. And there are plenty of PGs who can play better than Cousy. EDIT: Or Mark Jackson.

| Kevin Johnson and Dennis Johnson over Cousy? Sounds kinda sketchy....
And no one really gets votes if they a lot of active players....I noticed!

And no one really gets votes if they a lot of active players....I noticed! There are plenty better point guards than Cousy He's ahead of them because what he did in his time and left his impact on the game with his amazing playmaking, ability to run the fast brake, first guy to be a showman, one of three little guys to win a MVP but let's face it:no crossover, no real ball handling skills, ugly shooting (shot below 40% for career), and i doubt he'd been well in a slower pace because the Celtics back in the day played a real fast pace...like the Suns expect a lot faster He was though robbed in assists. His totals would have been among the top 3, but he wouldn't be the all time leader because the Big O surpassed all of his records...he was just better passer statistically than him but still..

Then gimme Kevin Johnson! Kevin Johnson? Over Cousy? EDIT: I'm just messing with you. That's the right thing to do...if you can change your pick. I dunno if you can 'cause I'm not playing.

So taking guys like Bill Russel, Cousy......anyone from that era puts u at a disadvantage It's not for all For example, if you take George Mikan and faces someone like Dwight Howard than you're in disadvantage But what if you take a guy who could still play well like Russell, West, Wilt, Big O, Baylor and so on, they'd still be dominant however some of them might change positions. For example, Elgin Baylor with his 6'5 was a small forward in his day, now Kobe with his 6'6 in a shooting guard...so he'll fit much, much better at that position. Same for Russell. He played center, and was probably around 6'9. He'd much better at PF. This is all subjective. For example,if i have Bill Russell against any other big man of the 90's, most guys would give the vote to the others simply because they have their own opinion on him etc

It's just an opinion man The game is a lot softer these days, no real defense, many players off their position and so on... Back in the day, it was all about tough defense, team basketball, championships, heart, desire... now it's all about money, money and more money, fame, glory, ball hogging... these generation got a wrong example from Michael... Guess that's only a reason why people aren't taking players from these days than in the past...

So taking guys like Bill Russel, Cousy......anyone from that era puts u at a disadvantage I think it's more about players whose games would translate better through generations. Baylor. Russell, Gervin, Wilt... those guys could play into today's NBA. Cousy... ballboy or hot dog vender.

| I thought about that... but, Chris didn't pick.
Technically it's still Jay's turn until Chris picks. Right?
That being said... weak!
Stand by your picks.
