Amar'e tonight will play what he doesn't really want to play C a bit because Mozgov has a sore hip and will likely miss the game opener, but this isn't gonna be the trend cause Amar'e already said he doesn't favor playing C. Anyways Amar'e at C isn't too bad for tonight's purposes he has Andrea Bargnani to go up against and he really isn't the banging type or much of the defensive type.

Gallinari/Randolph at SF/PF seems much better

Gallo played a lil PF last season but I agree he's much better as a SF

Randolph is injured as well now and will miss game 1 damn!!!

Gallo has a wrist injury but will play
Mozgov has a hop injury and is questionable
Buike is out still recovering from last season's injury
Randolph is out and will be x-rayed and reevaluated

I don't get why people don't like the man...he's a great defender, shotblocker, and hustles like a mofo. So what, he's not good at offense? You have Stoudemire for big man scoring...not so much big man defense. That's where Turiaf comes in

True hope he livens us up tonight I actually do like the enerrgy he brings and he makes some athletic momentum plays like blocks or running the floor and getting rewarded with a dunk or a put in of his.

The 1 good thing Amar'e does on d is get blocks, 1.4 career bpg. Throw that in with Turiaf's career 1.4 bpg and Mozgov's 7"3 frame that has shown the ability to block, Randolph's 1.3 bpg and even Gallo's team leading .7 bpg last year the Knicks may finally not be the last or among the last of teams getting blocks for once.
