| I didn't come up with these trades....they were in the rumors section of espn.com
HOR get: CA, Chris Anderson DEN: Peja, West
Bulls: CA DEN: Deng, Taj, James Johnson, and maybe Noah
NYK: CA DEN: Turiaf, Anthony Randolf, Azubuike, Gallo
What do you think? I say all of these suck except NYK's

| love it if it excludes Gallo out of it. Add Curry to it instead. Gallo and Melo lite it up when they had that epic showdown against 1 another. As teammates they would light it up as well.

| would hate to lose chandler would rather lose buike but if it is chandler included for Melo that's the trick of the trade and if Melo comes on board I'm fine with it. I like Walker as well but if he's included instead of Chandler I'll live with that as well. This season that slob in Curry is finally a valuable commodity. To think we tried trading his lard face to no avail before. | |

| yes he is but worse deals have been made and if Melo really does want out of Denver before he's a FA then Denver could use expiring contracts and try to rebuild and start over get some value out of it. If they keep Billups or trade him for good players and place Lawson as starter they can still be competitive.
BTW Al Harrington would be the team's 1st option offensively unless they get a better player any time before JR Smith does. Al Harrington is a better scorer than Smith. Billups or not, hopefully with Billups cause he still is on his game and would be still their leader Denver can be competitive with Harrington, Smith, Nene, A.Randolph, and either or Buike/Chandler or Walker. K.Mart's contract expires this season as does Curry's, Buike's, Chandler's, and Turiaf's as well I believe.

| I really don't think we have to rebuild if we lose Carmelo... Good perimeter defense with Chauncey and Afflalo Good post defense with Martin and Nene Hit-or-miss offense with Harrington and J.R. Young players with potential with J.R. and Lawson
And if you need to, trade Chauncey for some young players and draft picks

| Carmelo is better than Gallo but if you saw Knicks-Nuggets Gallo tore Melo up and Melo praised him as a player. Gallo even got the victory over Melo and the Nuggets dropping 17 3rd quarter points in that contest. Knicks have a lot of stock in Gallo and have praised him. Gallo is only going to get better he will be a 20+ guy in this league soon enough. Gallo also has an edge to him he's fiery and Knicks fans like that he knows of what he can do. Asked about what he thought about LeBron not picking NY maybe because he didn't feel he had the pieces to win in NY. Gallo said anyone who doesn't feel he's a great player is stupid. He's confident.

| Gallo will be a 20+ guy, but Melo has been a 20+ guy his whole career. Got near 30 a few times, led the league in scoring once, and gets a few rebounds now. The only thing Gallo has on Melo is shooting. Carmelo is just better in everything else...and has potential as well. He's not done growing | |

I know that but I don't think trading Gallo is the answer the guy could go off on anyone. Melo is physically more gifted than Gallo and didn't back down from him at all. He even posted him up. Gallo has the height advantage but not the strength over Melo and yet he didn't back down from the challenge and look what happened Gallo scored 17 3rd quarter points and finished with 27 and Knicks won. Gallo goes on stretches where he just doesnt miss and it's like that of any big name scorer in this league where he's hard to stop.He even contained Melo on the defensive end when Melo began the game hot as can be. And NY got the victory. Gallo also scored 15 straight NY baskets in a victory over Boston and Pierce couldn't hold him in check for Gallo's 31 points. If he can play at that level against 2 of the best SF's in the game for years he can play at that level against anyone. Meaning he would be great placed alongside Melo. Melo/Amar'e/Gallo & Parker waiting in the wings.

Melo/Amar'e/Gallo & Parker waiting in the wings. Well no duh he didn't back down...you're getting paid millions to go out and play, not to go cry to your coach to take you out because you're scared somebody will score on you. Wanna know why Gallo scored a lot on Melo and Pierce? They're both poor defensively. Pierce is fat and slow. Carmelo just doesn't give a damn about defense. How'd he do against good defensive SFs like Artest, Deng, or Kirilenko? Most like not very well. Didn't Carmelo light up Gallinari for like 35 that same game? Melo/Amare/Gallo/Parker would be great...except for the fact that would be your whole roster. The only way I can see New York trading for Carmelo without giving up Gallinari is by giving us every single other player on your roster...

| I think Melo as 1 of the game's elite players can play the 2 and Gallo would be kept @ the 3. I mean if Indy shifted Granger as a F/G with Dunleavy these last couple of years Melo could surely play the 2 in Mike D's system if Granger was able to in Indy these last couple of years. Steve Jax another gifted combo position player who is built more for SF can play and has been played as a 2 so Melo can as well.
If Parker comes to NY. Parker/Felton could possibly be the best PG 1/2 punch in the NBA.
