Suggestions to this forum

1. "Real Sports Talk" instead of "Real Basketball Talk"

What I mean is, set up a new forum (if you can take all the data you have here to the new one) and have all sports (Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Football, Volleyball, Baseball, Golf, etc)

Pros: More users, forum alive all the time
Cons: A little more difficult to manage

2. Simpler designs

- A smaller logo, so we won't have to scroll all the way down
- No images allowed in sigs (only text allowed) for a beautiful appearance



What do you think? Add other improvements too.

1. Tried it before. They had a Real Football Talk, and it didn't work out very well...and we already have that section in the "Other Sports" section which is actually pretty active.

And a larger forum doesn't neccessarily mean more active users...basketball is the biggest sport to talk about in this country, so unless you mean inviting rabid Spaniards or something like that I'm sure the forum will be just as alive as it is right now.

2. lmao, I'm sure a bit of scrolling down won't hurt any one.

And no need for taking out images in sigs, just have restrictions. Like CBI's, and probably mine, for example take up a lot of space.

My suggestions:

1. More active moderators - the moderators here to a great job, but for the most part some of them aren't even active anymore.

2. Clean-up of the forum - take out all inactive users, delete all sections that aren't active whatsoever, etc.

3. An ambassodor - someone who goes on all of the other popular sports sites and advertises the site.

Everyone GTFO and make me King.

My suggestion is to help Y!A members get out of Y!A.

It's a sad place to live in.

One problem: there's nothing to advertise about. This forums dead...a buncha midgets from Y!A aren't gonna revive the forum. Goddamn midgets!

Simple: Get more users.

Think all we need is some new users, and I think private messaging some of the Y!A users will get some of them here. Also, I think that we need to message the inactive members that haven't been here in a while, try and get them back (Kind of like me, although without getting deleted this time).

Other sports is a good section, but breaking it down into some main sports like football, soccer, baseball, and whatever else sections might help out a bit. Also, RFT was a failure, just a warning don't bring it back please!


Biggest thing you have to recognize though is that: your definitely not going to get people to come and get 1000's of posts on a forum. With out basketball forums populating the internet it's going to be hard to "resurrect" this one. I think since most of us came together through Y!A target the Y!A people.

You might as well make it into a sports forum.
Cause you already have a basketball AND football section (both college and pro leagues I should add). The only thing is if you get more members posting in each sports section...then you will need more man/woman power to moderate this place.

Maybe go back to RBT and remove the football section?

Remove the football section? no way!

The football section is pretty active during football season, so a lot of people would probably want it back when football starts up again
