Wizards training camp for 2010-2011: My suggestions
Should Wizards training camp next year (or any other bad teams) be run with strict discipline?
Hell yeah, spank the players, Bob Knight did it!

No, you don't want to hurt the poor players.

Some teams are light hearted yet serious when it matters, like the Lakers and the Cavs and still get their stuff done. Spurs are run like a structured, discipline team at all times. There are some teams, most notable the Wizards that quite clearly can't be funny, and I want to see training camp like this at a bare minimum.
Before Gilbert Arenas comes back for training camp, All NBA players should come to the Verizon Center, and invite all Wizards Season ticket holders as well. At this event, it will be like this video below, to teach Arenas a Lesson, and send a message to all NBA players that this is what will happen to you physically if you fuck up your team again. I say that David Stern should administer the punishment. This isn't double jeopardy to me, this is needed. This is what Ben Roethlisberger also needs, and Roger Goodell can administer the blows here.
If Gilbert fucks up in training camp with ONE little act of the SLIGHTEST hint of insubordination, I authorize Flip Saunders to do this to him:
YES, corporal punishment in the NBA training camps is needed. I'll be willing to volunteer with a swagger stick. And if Gilbert fucks up a third time, Flip is authorized to kick his left knee 10 times.
You think I'm joking? I'm not, corporal punishment has gotten people to stop fucking up for hundreds if not thousands of years, and that is one way to get Gilbert to stop fucking up. Same goes for everyone else on the Wizards. For example, if Gilbert fucks up, he gets spanked 10 times, and everyone else gets spanked once. This will spark discipline for the team and a guaranteed improved team (ok, championship is out of whack) next year because they are playing out of fear of the crack of the whip, which Bob Knight says is the best sign of authority when you lost it all.
