| I want Darren Collison. When he moved over to the starting PG role this season he worked well with Marcus Thornton and put up CP3's customary stat sheet. He finished his rookie campaign with 12 PPG/6 APG shooting 40% from behind the arc, 47.7% from the field, & 85% from the line. He did all of this with sporadic minutes all season long as CP3 worked his way in and out of the rotation this season with the injuries he had to battle. Anyways, Parker in NYC seems all but dead now. Collison may be NY's last attempt to try and trade away Curry's disgrace of a contract which expires come 2011. | |

| I'd keep him and have one of the best bench PGs in the game to reinforce Paul, or give him extra rest if he needs it. - Dub C wrote:

I dunno? Would Collison and Paul hit it off? They have a miserable overall bench Posey is one of the most overpaid role players I ever seen and maybe the money that comes off Curry's contract would put them in a better position for 2011 FA. I don't see anything coming out of them next year or the following years. Collison to NY took a lot of chatter away from this off-season during mid-season when Wilson Chandler for Collison trades began to take surface. Walsh dismissed it saying that Chandler is gonna be a part of NY's immediate future but he also said that he would be lying if he was not trying to obtain Collison.

| Er...Nash is amazing and all, but do you want him in 2011? Really, his body is going to give out sooner or later. | |

| yeah but for the 1 or 2 years he's here he can take us far judging on who we would have. Also maybe he can serve as a role model for Toney Douglas to be a PG in this league rather than more of a SG. Douglas already has speed, a good offensive and defensive game. He's not the best facilitator or playmaker around though. Nash could mentor him and by the time this 24 year old is 26+ he may be a PG. | |

| Well, you can dream, but I'm pretty sure Nash is going to retire a Sun. If he were going to leave, it would've been at the end of last season. | |

| Well he does live in NYC and Mike D is the Coach and last season NY tried to get him, Kidd, Miller, & Sessions - but they made it clear to Nash who was there 1st option that off-season that because of the 2010 FA that NY would not offer Nash as much money as he may want. He stayed in PHX for this among other reasons. If NY does get some of the players they want, get Mike D's system up and running - being that Nash lives in NYC also and that his chances at a ring are dwindling may make him look our way. | |

| They can keep Collison as a backup, but sometimes run them both on a small frontcourt (like the Nuggets put Lawson at PG and Chauncey at SG at the same time but they both act as PGs) | |

They also have Marcus Thornton who plays the 2 and could even be better than Collison.

| Hornets are trying to move their expensive, horrible contract players. Not inexpensive rookie contracts or star players. Neither Collison or Paul is probably going anywhere this season. | |

| one of 'em is gonna get traded. Thornton is gonna have a bigger role next season and I wouldn't be surprised if the Hornets draft another 2 guard... cuz Marcus isn't that big for a SG. CP is gonna play at least 35 MPG.. so that doesn't leave much playing time for Collison. Since Collison has 1 more year left on his contract, I think the hornets would wanna trade him before the deadline so they can get something for him. But I was the Hornets, I would trade CP and get back a lot in return and sign Collison to a 5 year 40 million dollar deal. [5.5 million less than they're paying CP] Like way back I said the hornets should trade CP/Wright for Iguodala and young.
Hornets after that trade
PG-Collison SG-Iguodala SF-Young PF-West C-Okafor Bench: Stojakovic, draft pick, thornton, posey
Sixers after trade
PG-Paul SG-Williams/Draft pick SF-Draft pick/ Wright PF-Brand C-Dalembert Bench:Holiday, Speights, Meeks, Draft pick/ Free agent.
Since the sixers have the 2nd pick.. this could be a good trade for both teams. It'll never happen though

| Collison and Paul would be good combo in a team when they would find good chemistry | |

| I think the Hornets will try to keep them both together and see how that works...if that plan is an epic fail...they may look to trade either Collison or Paul...and I assume because of Paul`s reputation in the NBA that they would keep him on their roster. | |
