| from what I was watching it seems he gave up and quit. Mike Brown coached the game pretty poorly too but Lebron wasn't aggressive on offense or defense and just flat out quit from what I saw and it showeed throughout the whole Cavs team
On ESPN they should never compare him and Jordan ever again. Jordan would've never let a 32pt home playoff loss occur like Lebron did last night. Other legends like Magic,Bird,Isiah Thomas would've showed up and played with heart. I personally saw Lebron play with no heart of passion last night and when times got rough and they trailed they just mailed it.

| Last night was a complete joke on the part of the Cavaliers.
I kinda had a feeling that taking Lebron off Pierce was a bad idea and look what happened; Pierce lit it up on the court.
As well, Anthony Parker/Moon may need to go after the end of this season. And wow, Mo William's defense is horrendous (if you even wanna call that defense, lol).
Good luck winning game six in Boston - I mean, it is not impossible but the momentum shifted in Boston's favour and the Celtics determined to close out the series next game...everyone on the Cavs (including Lebron) have to step it up in this series.

| Piss poor effort on the Cavs part last night, but I wouldn't go as far to say that LeBron should not be mentioned along the same lines as past NBA legends cause these type of games happen. Now if they end up losing this series and do not show up with any sense of urgency in these next 2 games then something can be said. But until then the Cavs have approached the games within these playoffs after getting blown out or pummeled with a great sense of urgency and LeBron James has been the one who started it all from opening tip to the final buzzer. Right now I see it as yet another piss poor performance on all the Cavs part and yet another chance to right some wrongs only this time it's more personal cause Cavs are against the ropes if they lose.
MJ would have never let the Bulls get blown out in a game and lose that series that is certainly true. But, I do remember those championship Bulls along with MJ get blown out completely in some playoff games. What they would do is bounce back and show a sense of urgency and make sure not to lose the series. That's what LeBron needs to do in Game 6 and 7 put all his attention into closing things out.
He should go on Pierce. Pierce is the best player on the Celts and if LeBron does not go on him then it makes a mess of everything else. In no world would Mo Williams ever be able to guard Ray Allen through an entire game. And Rajon Rondo has left a mark in this series he found his way to still be involved in the game when James was on him and when James switched off of him Rondo made it more of an emphasis to get even more involved in the game. The Cavs need to show up and then some these next 2 games.

| it looked like the whole team quit out there, period. Even before the C's went on that run, the cavs never really looked like they were into it. As for LeBron.. he wasn't aggressive at all. But that's not unusual for him in the first Q. All season long he has gotten his team involved in the first Q, then he started to attack after that. But last night, he just flat out sucked.
The only 2 people that looked like they showed up to play was Shaq and Parker [kinda].
after watching the cavs in the playoffs last season and this season.. I think it's safe to say that Mo williams is a good player, but not a playoffs player... he's just awful in the post-season. Even against the bulls he struggled shooting 41% despite getting pretty good looks at the basket.

| Every one of those guys you mentioned have gotten blown out at some point in their careers. It happens and it's not always about heart. Isiah played with one leg (he literally hopped around after every timeout, score and defensive play) and scored the most points in a quarter in Finals history to get his Pistons within striking distance of a victory and lost. Sometimes even with the greatest passion and heart you can still lose.
My biggest problem is the way LeBron talks about himself after the loss. His disinterest. His passion. Or lack there of.
“I spoil a lot of people with my play. When you have three bad games in seven years, it’s easy to point them out.”
"“I put a lot of pressure on myself to go out and be great and the best player on the court. When I don’t, I feel bad for myself.”
WTF!
I can't even explain the sound my jaw made when it hit the floor when I heard those words come out of his mouth. I've never been a hater of LeBron, just annoyed with his personality... but this is different. This is self proclaiming with nothing on your resume.
Are you fucking kidding me.
I feel bad for myself? You spoil people with your play?
I didn't care about the elbow, like I don't care about Kobe's finger and back. I don't care where LeBron goes, as I'd prefer he stays. I didn't care about him not shaking hands with the Magic but I was incensed with him letting his teammates take the heat and media onslaught, while he ducked out.
For all of LeBron's stats and unselfishness on the court, he is completely self-centered and unaware in the most important trait shared by all the greats you listed previously.
Leadership.

| Agree there. And I gotta say the whole team quit as well. There is no excuses for Lebron this year if he doesn't win. Last year I've said in the Conference Finals he didnt' get the help he needed from his teammates but this time it's his fault just as much as his teammates. His lack of urgency last night bugged me. He didn't hustle the same way he would for plays and looked isolated from his teammates. He was unaggressive and didn't show heart. Even his family members and friends at the game a columnist said were wondering what was wrong in the mind of Lebron last night In a postgame interview he said “I spoil a lot of people with my play. When you have three bad games in seven years, it’s easy to point them out.” That's rubs off the wrong way on me and I find it to be a little smug as if he's thinking he's so high and mighty even after a big playoff loss where his Championship Dream could slip away again http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-lebroncavs051210this was a good article too | |

| Yea same with me I knew people thought he was arrogant but I didn't notice as much until this season
He also said
“I put a lot of pressure on myself to go out and be great and the best player on the court. When I don’t, I feel bad for myself.”
Now's not the time to feel bad for himself and he needs to go out there with a sense of urgency and try to win and instead of worrying about feeling bad for himself. I may be viewing that the wrong way but that seems a little bit selfish to me as well. He mentioned himself instead of staying anything about his team or teammates i

| Nick is smart and i agree that LeBron isn't good leader.
I think that Shaq should become a leader in the team,he's already been 6 times to the NBA Finals and won 4 times. He wants to and i think he will win a ring in this year's playoffs but he needs to take a role as a leader, motivate LeBron and to tell him about the benifitions of winning championships.

| In the later parts of the first half, he didn't quit. He tried to bring his team back. The bad part is that he tried to do it BY HIMSELF and just jacked up bad shot after bad shot, which did not help. Then Ray Allen pretty much settled the game with his two early threes in the second half.
AFTER THAT, Lebron gave up

| About the quotes from yahoo that Nick and KONJ pointed out... I didnt see the interview after the game, so I just read those quotes and thought "HAHA wow.. LBJ is so fuckin full of himself." and thats it.
but I saw it and the full quotes were
"I spoil a lot of people with my play," James said. "When you have a bad game here or there, you've had three bad games in a seven-year career, then it's easy to point that out. So you got to be better.
"I put a lot of pressure on myself to be out there and be the best player on the court, and when I'm not I feel bad for myself because I'm not going out there and doing the things I can do. But I don't hang my head low or make any excuses about anything that may be going on, because that's not the type of player or person I am."
Not exactly what Yahoo put on their atricle..
the first thing about spoiling fans with his play could either be serious.. or sarcastic... but kinda true. Because LBJ doesnt really play that bad often... and when he does, people really go after him for it. So I think that was a serious/sarcastic remark from LBJ...
but still... horrible game by LeBron. I think what he said is being taken in the wrong way.. or people are just focusing on one thing he said, and making a big deal out of it

| Mike Brown is just a shitty Coach...
idk why CLE has kept him around for so long.
like Barkley keeps saying on TNT.. the cavs NEED to play at a faster pace against the Celtics if they want to have success... but Mike Brown doesnt change anything up accept the match-ups.. which isn't working
