What would happen and how could would it be if the Jazz won the NBA Draft Lottery and got the #1 pick in the Draft

The Jazz have the Knicks pick in the Draft and the Knicks would have the 9th pick

The Jazz making the playoffs and the 2nd Round as the 5 seed would get a huge boost if somehow they won the NBA Draft Lottery and got the #1 pick

What do you think the Jazz would do if they got the #1 pick , and how would you react?

The Jazz should draft a big man so they could address their issue with size.

I say trade down and collect some experienced players.

They're in a win now mode and rookies won't be helping their cause much.

Wesley Matthews played a key role as a 2nd Round Draft pick in his rookie season this year

Drafting somebody like Evan Turner if they got the #1 pick would be a huge boost for their depth

Wesley Matthews was undrafted actually.

Anyway, young guys are able to make an immediate impact on their team sometimes.

undrafted...utah is good at finding cheap young talent and using them well in their system. they aren\'t particularly good with their first round picks. they did really well with deron williams, but they\'re first round picks are usually average players.

as far as getting the first pick, they should go after favors (at a lower pick if they can trade down) so they can replace boozer who is likely not going to be back (just too expensive)

But during the playoffs? More often than not, they falter.

True that. You might be able to find players like Brandon Jennings, Derrick Rose and Daniel "Boobie" Gibson who rose to the occasion during the playoffs too though especially if you had the #1 pick.

Kusta Koufus was a below average 1st Rd pick that came to mind for the Jazz same with Dee Brown.

I think it'd be great for them to get the #1 pick too because they could make a trade for a player that could push them over the edge and some team looking for a John Wall,Evan Turner could get them
