| http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/womens-basketball/recap;_ylt=AikDg7IRma599_HIfUDgKwtMvrYF?gid=201003280400&prov=apThe Wildcat women played in Kansas City yesterday, just 3 hours away from Lincoln, NE. They didn't even have very many fans, who were all in Syracuse to see future Wizards star John Wall and future Wizards coach Calipari. But like all other Cal teams, they don't finish the deal in some way. The Wildcats won, 76-67, thanks to some stifling D in the first half esp. The Wildcats are continuing their dream season at 28-7, a school record for wins, and now will go for their first ever Final Four against Oklahoma, who beat Notre Dame, the #2 seed, and another team in Big 12 territory and a rabid women's basketball fanbase. Kentucky hopes to finish the deal Tuesday to give their school something more to cheer for, something that most of their fanbase probably never knew what they even had: the greatest women's basketball team in their history, and perhaps a Final Four team. | |
