| As good as they are.. I have a feeling they won't make it past the sweet 16.
I have a feeling they're gonna be upset by someone..
then again, it won't be shocking if the won the whole thing

| Lmao I was thinking the same thing...they're the most unpredictable team in college ball to me. Though I hope he gets hammered by the NCAA in the future, Calipari has done a masterful job melding all these petulant, NBA-dreaming teens into a coherent team. At the same time, inexplicable games like against South Carolina (and to a lesser extent, Tennessee; love Bruce Pearl and I know they'd beaten Kansas, but Kentucky should've handled them). I don't know...they have the most raw talent/future NBA ballers of any college team, but all that talent is so inexperienced...I see Wall or Cousins choking and a team like, say, Maryland or Pitt (or maybe even Tennessee again...that would be awesome lol) taking them down. I guess they could win the championship, but something keeps me from calling that. Much like I refused to pick Memphis in '08 on account of their horrid free throw shooting (and that came back and bit them in the ass in the closing minutes of that championship game).
My senseless ranting aside, I would be stunned to see a team not named Kansas cutting down the nets in Indianapolis.

| I agree.
I think the inexperience will play a huge factor and with the balance in this years Tournament I think they drop in the Sweet 16.
I just feel they're vulnerable for somebody to knock them out
I just think a team with great defense, a good jump shooter, and inexperience would knock them off.
Kentucky historically as a #1 seed hasn't done well. Last time they were the #1 seed in the tournament and the favorite going in an upset minded 9th seeded UAB team knocked them out of the tournament in the 2nd Round in 2004.

I doubt Wall chokes. Give the man some credit. He's bailed them out of a loss more than any player in the NCAA.

But it was turnovers and misses galore in the loss to 'SC, and he didn't look very good in the closing minutes of the Tennessee game. And if that happens in the tourney, Kentucky is toast.

| He's not going to choke. If anything Wall will carry Kentucky in the Tournament.
If Wall is off for a short amount of time it could mean the end for Kentucky just like against South Carolina, and Tennessee or even the 1st meeting against a sub par Georgia team when it was close
Kentucky has let lesser opponents make it close far too often such as Sam Houston State, Miami(OH), Stanford, Mississippi State, and a few others far too often.
They weren't lucky enough to come out on top against Kentucky, and a veteran team will capitilize off of youth mistakes Kentucky makes.
John Calipari coached teams also struggled at FTs often and Kentucky as a team only shoots 68.2 % from the foul line. It could be a concern in crucial situations in games
Kentucky has trouble with teams with a guard who can get to the hole as well. They had no answer for Devin Downey and even in an OT win Miss St Guard Dee Bost was getting to the bucket at will

| also forget the stats but I remember on CBS a few years ago talking about how historically as a #1 seed it hasn't been so lucky for Kentucky and they've never made the Final Four as a #1 seed
last time as a #1 seed lost to UAB in a huge shocker in the 2nd Round in 2004. And the year before that lost to Marquette in the Elite 8 as a #1
could be a bad omen but the stats may be pointless as well

| John Wall is a very unique, very special point guard. Kentucky should win it all, and I'd be very surprised if they don't make it to the Final Four. However, it is March and crazier things have happened. Even so, When I fill out my bracket, Calipari & Co. will appear on my sheet more than twice. | |

| You know what?
It doesn't matter.
Kentucky will have to return the tourney money and be wiped from the books when Calipari is done with Kentucky. I'm just watching for memories sake.

could be a bad omen but the stats may be pointless as well so because teams, with different coaches, and different players, didn't do well, it means this team won't?

Lol at least you get the thrill of getting to watch great players and teams under him I'm still pissed that I picked Memphis and would've won my pool in 2008 but he and his team effed up the game and I came away with no money when I would've had 250 dollars
