| Will they end up losing to Orlando? Or could Charlotte own them in the first 2 rounds? Could they reach the finals and lose for some western team? Could they WIN IT ALL? haha | |

| If they play the Bobcats its over in the first round. If not, they will at the very least get to the ECF....where they will be outed by the Hawks. | |

right...and then wrong, lol. they won't lose to boston, or the hawks. only two teams in the east would be able to beat them in a seven game series. charlotte (who just has their number) and orlando (who might be just as good or better). barring a charlotte upset, I really don't see any other possible eastern conference finals match up than cleveland versus orlando. charlotte is currently sixth, so cleveland should be okay. i don't think they'll win the finals, though. i think denver and dallas and los angeles would beat them or the magic at this point.

| I think they'll lose to the Magic in the ECF. Unless Shaq can shut down Howard for 4 games.. the cavs won't win that series. | |

| I think w/ Tawn this is a finals year.
Dont see how the inexperienced Cats would beat the Cavs.. regular season means nothing come playoff time. Still a little worried about the Celtics.. nto so much the Magic. Everybody is at a worse level than last year.
Finals... Lakers, Mavs, Nuggets.. worried about them though. Lol.

| But do the Cats have a coach or player that knows everything the Cavs run?
Thats like the one time in recent years where the underdog that had the overdog(idk)'snumber all season actually pulled it out in the playoffs.

| More than LeBron James and his crew... really it's on coach Mike Brown. So far his coaching has gotten them nothing.
I think Cleveland will make the ECF, but if they face Orlando...
Hmmmm... still not a good matchup over a 7 game series.

| if the playoffs were to start tomorow with all the current standings
they will win 4-0 to the rapts 4-2 to Hawks if they make it and will probably choke in the ECF to the magic or boston

| Orlando is obviously the biggest threat and with Vince Carter stepping up as of late it could prove to be alot of matchup problem for the Cavs, Shaq's status is uncertain and Z can't keep up with Howard's speed.
It's hard to say where their run will end as they are playing very well right now, but Bobcats has had their numbers and I wouldn't underestimate the Celtics either, so instead of saying where it's going to end I'd project the Cavs in the ECF at the very least.

based on what? Based on what Cavs can win it all? I just wanted his opinion on why we 'don't have it in us'. If Shaq can stay healthy and we have everyone on the court we can definitely go all the way.

| Cavs have the weapons to beat the Magic
Shaq will stop Howard on defense and is skilled and smart enough to put him in early foul trouble
Jamison will be a threat for Lewis, because he's skilled on offense and good defender. He can keep in front of him
LeBron James,triple double machine.Enough said
Delonte West,a lockdown defender that will not let Carter get many points and can stroke it from outside/create his own shot and make it
Mo Williams,he will need a good stroke

| I totally agree with Nick C, it all depends on Coach Mike Brown.
But I hope the Cavs will have some luck and hunger in the playoffs, because I have seen some kind of a pattern for the last 3 years in the playoffs.
Spurs were lucky to get the Cavs (a newbie team) in the finals, if they had to the Pistons (who were CLEARLY better than the Cavs), it could have been another story.
Celtics were lucky to have a lakers team that missed Bynum (he meant more to his team when he was injured back then than now). I still remember how much they had to go through in the first two rounds (Hawks and Cavs - both 7 games) but how it was easy for them in the finals.
Lakers were lucky that Yao Ming ane Carmelo Anthony were injured just at the wrong times. They were also lucky to get Orlando in the finals (same as Spurs and Cavs)
One more STRONG factor was hunger. The lakers last year and celtics in 08 were the most hungry team IMO, and they just wouldn't lose easily. We all know how the cavs were able to build HUGE leads in the 1st halves of 2? games in the ECF last year, but Orlando would just comeback and take the wins.
I think this year the Cavs wouldn't just let a team beat them easily. Not that they are the best team, but they really want it bad. So considering those, and actually hoping Mike Brown will actually coach like a title contender, I think they have a chance to win it all.

| I don't agree with "luck" being a main factor for why those aforementioned teams being able to win their respective series. They were just able to capitalize on the unfortunate situations/shortcomings of their opponents. | |
