Who else thinks that Boston ended up with a steal?

I mean Michael Finley is up there in age, but the thing about him is that he's well conditioned and has always had a high IQ for the game. He's been a proven All-Star in this league and knows how to put the ball in the basket. If called upon he can put up 20 points on a night to night basis. Not to mention age has robbed him of any quickness, but he still makes up for it and is an underrated defender mostly because of his saavy. I think he can be what PJ Brown was to Boston when they won the Finals. Finley can provide vet leadership and hit big shots (especially 3's down the stretch). Until Ray Ray decided to show up for the Finals the best players for Boston in those playoffs was Pierce, KG, and PJ Brown. Heck Brown practically won them the series along with Pierce with his big shots down the stretch. Finley can provide this.

I don't think this is a steal at all. It's a nice pick up. He's better overall than Tony Allen (even without Mike's former defensive prowlness). But thats really it.

cosgin w/ YS. this pickup will be pretty much meaningless. he isn't the defender that daniels or tony allen are. i'd rather give tony minutes than finley.
