| I've watched a couple of Knicks and Grizzlies games this season and I can see some similarities in Lee and Z-bo's game.
Rebounding:
Both are putting up big rebounding numbers ranging from 9-15 a night. The thing for Z-bo is, he grabs more offensive rebounds than Lee does. Also, Zach actually positions himself for a rebound because he wasn't given the needed athleticism to get an easier rebound. Props to David though because he's 6'9 and a Power Forward playing Center that gets his boards against opposing natural centers.
Scoring:
Both score using jumpers and layups. But you see Z-bo get points off of offensive rebounds more though. Z-bo occassionally extends his range from behind the 3 point line. David Lee has improved his jumper this year and has extended his range to 17 feet or so. Lee can also finish with either left or right hand. Both can score 20 points a night.
Defense:
Usually, even power forwards protect the paint consistently like averaging a block or so. But they are also similar when it comes to defense in the paint. They're not known for blocking shots. You'll see them block a shot once in a while but not really all the time. Both average a steal a game. Both keep up with the one they're defending though.
Others:
-Both are All-Stars this year. -Both played for the Knicks. *Lee is still playing for the Knicks -Both are naturally left handed.
It looks as if I'm trying to ask who's better but i just got motivated to post a thread again. So... you get my point. |

| I like Z.BO he was a good player in NY glad he's succeeding in Memphis he was always a beast. David Lee is my dude I love him to death and am hoping NY keeps him. Both played very well yesterday. Randolph was the reason Grizz won in the end he was phenomenal. NY needs a player on the frontcourt Danilo Gallinari can't play PF he's a SF and neither can Chandler he can't play PF he's a SF. Last night Zach Randolph abused Gallinari. | |

I know right?! You can't, Dwight Howards defensive game > every single centre his offensive game is abit terrible but hell get there, the magic have too much scorers in carter, nelson, lewis and even redick every now and then. knicks... who else is gonna score points either than harrington and mcgrady. Howard - Multiple All-Star Starter - Defensive Player of the year last year - Leads the league in rebounding and Blocking | |

| My apologies. Although I here some people calling Lee "Dawhite Howard" probably because of his close rebounding numbers to Howard. That's the reason for the comparison to Dwight Howard.
I should've changed the title to David Lee is similar to Zach Randolph lol. |

| Yes, because both Zach and David are agressive rebounders and have great inside and mid range games. David is more of a dunker though, he was second in the NBA in dunks last year to Dwight and right now, both players have reputations for being stat whores on bad teams. At least Zach now is on a team that can make the playoffs, so he's getting the monkey off his back. | |
