Why does the All star game hate Josh Smith?

look, there was NO bigger critic of Josh Smith in the past few years. I could not stand this guy. In fact, before the draft, I wanted him traded to MEmphis for Thabeet lmao. KG better sit out and let his 80 year old knees rest, and let Smoove play.

Lee has played better than Smith, but smith has played better than Horford.

Lee shoulda got in, in the first place instead of HOrford. Then Smith could get now.

Horford is better than Lee. Lee plays for a shit suck team, therefore his stats will inflate since he is the best player. Its like if you put Lebron in the D League. Put Lee on a semi-good team, and he will average 12 and 10, just like Horf

Yeah it sucks, I would LOVE to see Josh at the All-Star game
but it doesn't look like KG has any plans of sitting out

Lee is better than Horford from what we have seen... no need to go plugging players in all over the place.

its easy to say, hey, that guy has better stats, so he is better. You have to look at the talent around each team. Al Horford is like the 5th option for the Hawks man. Lee is the number 1 guy in NY. Stats lie.

Last season he was the no. 2 option nad made the allstar team, and this year he's anywhere from the no. 2 to no. 4 on any given night.

A player can still be good even if his team is bad, aplayer is allowed to make the ASG even if his team is bad. Just because a player plays in NY or for the clippers doesn't mean they're stats are automatically inflated. Actually, for a player like Lee, you'd think his stats are prettty damn good for a team like hte knicks, a team filled w/ a bunch of black holes who shoot from deep instead of passsing it inside.

Is Lee and All Star? Sure. Is he better than Josh Smith? No Does he DESERVE it more than Josh Smith? hell no.

What has josh smith done to deserve it more than Lee?

Lee's performed this good for 2, maybe even 3 seasons and he's been snubbed.
Josh Smith was lazy as hell up unitl this season, and he gets a lot of open looks because of the weapons around him.

Lee has preformed this well because....HIS TEAM HAS ALWAYS SUCKED! Mike Woodson (our current coach) was dropping 20 a game with the Clippers when he played for them. Why? because his team sucked balls. Smooves numbers have stayed the same from this year to last year, which is surprising when you think about Craw taking as many shots as he does.

Lee deserved it more than Smith. That said, Smith should be in over KG and Horford.

If Smith's numberes are the same as last year, then why does he desereve it any more than he did last year?

Well, I think the other guys who made it have been bigger impact players, minus AI. The only All Star who I think should have been passed over is Al Horford, but he was the center that was picked by the coaches above David Lee, Brendan Haywood, Kendrick Perkins, Andrea Bargnani and Andrew Bogut. Hard to pick Josh Smith over Bosh, Pierce, and Gerald Wallace, the forwards who were selected for the game. Hard to pick Antawn Jamison above those three as well who was snubbed second straight year.

That is so much bull David Lee in 20 mpg on the bench playing beneath Zach Randolph and Eddy Curry put up a similar stat line than what Horford does now in 30 minutes as a starter. I'm sick of people saying such a piss poor excuse that Lee gets stats cause they are inflated. The reason he gets these stats is cause he is that good, is the best passer on our team and the ball runs through him, he expands on his game year in and year out, and he's finally given the minutes.

Jamal Crawford took even more shots than he does now when he was on the Knicks. Especially, when he moved from being the Knicks 6th man when Knicks had Marbury and Francis both starting into the starting 2 as well as point. Craw shot the ball more than anyone. Lee was a double-double beast his 2nd year into the NBA. It's just he never got the minutes back then, like he does now and now he's an even better player.
