Al is so 2001...and Tmac was this eras..melo. He was/is just there. Nothing special. Tmac would be starting in the all star game right now, even though he doesn't see the floor anymore, and AI is in the all star game somehow...I think the NBA should reject every vote coming from China, because thats whose voting for Tmac. Disgruntled Rocket fans. Its not like they stay up till 3 in the morning to catch the Rockets and Wolves...and I don't know who the hell is voting to AI, but they need to have their internet shut off.

| T-Mac=China AI-Still pretty fun to watch.
All-Star game is no longer about the best players. Its about the players that are the most fun to watch, and can entertain the fans more.
Deserving guys like Brandon Roy are, what, ninth in voting among guards in the Western Conference I think. Durant is fifth. With guys like T-Mac taking away a spot for players that deserve one.
I think Tracy is more overrated, because well.....he simply has barely played 10 minutes this season, yet he is above guys like Durant.
Iverson atleast played this season. He's getting 14/4....which is no where near All-Star material though.
All-Star Weekend is about entertainment. Its about what the fans want to see, even though its unfair to players that are truly All-Star caliber.

| Amare is good but i think there are players who deserve to be All-Stars
He isn't playing center,he needs to fight over Dirk and Duncan to get his spot like a PF not to be placed as center

| I mean let the young centers battle little like Oden(when he comes back and be ready for the next season),Bynum and prime Yao,Kaman.....let Amare fight with Duncan and Dirk for that Pf spot...it isn;t fair... | |

| Honestly, I find the events on Saturday (e.g. dunk contest, three point shooting, etc) much more entertaining to watch than the actual all-star game anyway. No one plays defense, undeserving people get in, etc.
I think if coaches/analysts (hopefully, the less biased ones [e.g. not Mark Jackson, lol]) chose who go into the all-star game, more deserving players would end up on the teams. Sorry, but I dislike when fans get to have a say in anything.
Even when it comes to my favourite shows (e.g. So You Think You Can Dance, America's Best Dance Crew), I find that fans make very unwise voting decisions and the better talents end up getting snubbed in favour of less talented dancers. I say let the experts of the game decide who is deserving/undeserving.
Fans will complain but they will still watch the game so I see no issue with revoking their voting privileges.
and lol @ China being one of the poll options.

| The Dunk contest needs some new guys. Dwight is gone for good. Nate just jumps over tall objects. LeBron might not even participate. Real dunkers are needed like Shannon Brown,Gerald Wallace,James White(where is this guy),etc.
I love how Durant chose not to participate in the dunk contest because he knows he's not a flashy dunker and said guys like Brown need to be their.

| There are other impressive dunkers......they should get in and make a real contest.I don't think LeBron has any buisness in that Contest.Sure he would go with spectacular stuff but i want to see Wallace,Brown etc | |
