How are AI, and TMac still so popular?

Al is so 2001...and Tmac was this eras..melo. He was/is just there. Nothing special. Tmac would be starting in the all star game right now, even though he doesn't see the floor anymore, and AI is in the all star game somehow...I think the NBA should reject every vote coming from China, because thats whose voting for Tmac. Disgruntled Rocket fans. Its not like they stay up till 3 in the morning to catch the Rockets and Wolves...and I don't know who the hell is voting to AI, but they need to have their internet shut off.

Im real surprised that AI is getting a hell of votes cause after the detroit disaster he is being looked at like a "cancer" by alot of people.

I think you should fuck picking players by position and you should get 1 player from each team in the allstar game.

It should be a roster of 12 players from each conferance and the worst 3 teams in the conferance dont get represented in the allstar game so in the east the knicks,nets and sixers dont get a player in the allstar game and in the west wolves,warriors and clippers dont gets a player in the allstar game

Hmmm... the allstar game is for fans... it's like the one time they have a voice.

Not even, Fans need and deserve to vote, All star weekend is for fun, no need to get all serious. Fans pick who they want to see and we watch. Honestly would you rather see stephen Jackson and Luoul deng over tmac and IVerson? No, Because All star weekend is about entertainment and players wanna put their skills on display.

For the fans. Not just the fans of the big market teams. If its all about fun, where are the Warriors? We had nobody participate in All Star Weekend at all last year. There were probably other teams that had that happen, too. Overall, All Star Weekend has become a joke. Either give it to the most deserving players or represent all the teams. Don't put together a mockery. It's terrible.

Some team is always gonna get screwed over.
The system isn't perfect, but the purpose is for fan entertainment.
Therefore allowing them to vote in players is the best choice because it keeps
most fans happy and entertained while making a profit for the NBA.

There are players from every team on the ballot. We don't deserve All Stars, but a lot of the players voted for don't deserve to be there. If we're going to be left out, I want it to be because deserving players made it.

Fans are dumb. They've proven it more than ever with this year's vote. Epic Fail.

The NBA should not be catering to idiots. No matter who gets in, they are going to make a profit and people are going to go the game. Tickets to the festivities are always sold out before the players are announced anyway. I don't watch it anyway, so for me, as a fan, it's worse than "not perfect." It needs changed.

A Reason why i don't vote any more because they pick a lot of players who have that status of ALL Star and even if they don't deserve to play because their numbers that certain year are not worthy.

I remember they voted in shaq but he did not deserve it.

I don't. I'm not voting for Monta, because he doesn't deserve it. It should be player's votes. As it is, it's as bad as it can be. Fans votes at least need to be somehow counteracted if they're this bad. 50/50 would be a suitable compromise.
