| Talent-wise, no.
Teammate-wise, yes. | |

| All he does now is shoot....but thats the only thing we need him to do...
However...he is absolutely terrible at D... I mean..its not because of lack of effort.....he's just too slow..

| i think he should be a bench for farmar or brown - i mean they aren't the best either but they could be a little better. | |

| No,he isn't.He isn't the same old 2003 Fisher when his defensive, clutch shooting skills and playmaking were on very good level, maybe he playmaking not as that good as the defensive and clutch level.
Anyway's now he's just a shooter and is clutch if he needed to be but the best solution for the Lakers is now to have Farmar/Brown as their starting PG

| Fisher doesn't suck but he doesn't measure up to the other point guards in the league. He's slow as hell. | |

| he is slow plus he misses a lot. Plus the main thing is he is frustrated and loses his cool as soon as they start losing. | |

Yes my love Fisher , um people the guy is lets see 35, He is not as the speed as other PG And i can see he is diminishing like last night he was taking a lot of shots trying to make some offense but it started 1- 5 . I know as a teamate he still has a lot to offer and still think he is a leader for the Lakers and i know call me nuts , crazy , to in to him as a Basketball player but when we need Fisher to give us that shot ... that shot that oppurtunity he is not afraid of the moment.
I will continue to see what the season brings to him but Farmar will get more playing time .

| lol Janet, I am not hating on him. I was just saying he is hurting the team. A lot of players I like hurt their teams. That's because of age, or other reasons.
I would start Shannon Brown and see what happens.

| I know you are not hating on Fisher : ) . Age ahh i wish he was younger lol but last year just showed me he can still do the job and i do take in consideration what he can still bring to the team and how he can be hurting the team.
You know it is hard to see your fav player diminishing ... just hard for me .
Lets see but then the whole bench will get messed up and i don't think they will bench Fisher.
Lets wait and see : ) | |

| Fisher>Brown and Farmar.
Brown isn't a PG imo. Farmar needs work, he obv. doesn't like the triangle either.

He does. He starts fouling and you know what happened in Game 2 of the playoffs. He's a big baby. The Lakers don't have a 'true' point guard.

| His flopping can be annoying/obvious at times but otherwise, he is a good leader for the Lakers. | |

| Yeah. You have to admit he gets frustrated easily. And you remember what he did to Luis Scola in the playoffs last year. | |

| I'm sorry but I have to say that Fisher is washed up and it's time for him to retire. He just isn't a good point guard IMO and the only people who like him are Laker fans. You have better PGs such as Chris Paul, Brandon Roy, Aaron Brooks (not biased), Tony Parker, Nash, Billups even Brandon Jennings.
In the offseason the Lakers need to acquire a young PG and get rid of Fisher.

So Robert Horry isn't professional either? He lowered the boom on Nash. It's the playoffs, where things get chippy and physical. By the way, the Lakers were leading by 11 at that point, so it wasn't really him being frustrated. Obviously it was over the top, but its no worse than a lot of stuff that's ever been done in the playoffs, and it certainly doesn't make him unprofessional.
