| Bob Cousy -- He is among the top all time in assists... And he was also in an era where a player can't get an assist if the scorer dribbles even 1 time...
Chris Webber -- Remembered for his infamous timeout.. But he has accomplished quite a lot Atleast statistically..
Elgin Baylor -- One of the best scorers during the time he played....

Chris Webber's team (Michigan) was down two points with very little time left.... And Chris Webber infamously called timeout, even though Michigan didn't have any left, which resulted in a technical and that basically ended Michigan's chances of coming back....

Nate Thurmond-Top defensive force with great offensive skills and good playing style.
Bill Walton-Great talented big man passer with great skills but too much injury prone I like your list very much. I wish big men like Gilmore, Unseld, and Thurmond could get more props for their play. It's a crime that Gilmore hasn't been voted in the HOF. He's definitely one of the greatest centers to ever play the game. He's one of my all-time favorites. Alex English is a good choice too. I think the most underrated player in the NBA history would be Adrian Dantley. That guy was an unbelievable scorer. His mid-range game was virtually unstoppable. Read my post about him by clicking on the link below. https://realbasketballtalk.forumotion.com/history-f21/who-is-the-best-scorer-in-the-nba-of-all-time-t2709.htmBTW, Bernard King is very underrated too. It seems like not many people talk about Dantley and King when it comes to best players in the NBA history. |

| Thanks
I put them in my all time lists with good explantion but yet there are rare people who understand their impact on the court.I don't have any game videos to watch and to witness their greatness but i have read about them a lot and relized their games, domination, playing style etc.
When i was reading a biography about Gilmore, searching on google for his all acomplishments i was shocked.I mean,on one site about Kentacky they had a hall page about Artis. They have listed his all acomplishments from his fantastic college career,to ABA days and dominating NBA days.I have list on this forum and on Y/A his entire acomplishments yet rarely i seen people with him on this list.Skills whise,Gilmore was more defensive oriented.Great rebounder, shot blocker, defensive presence, all time leader in FG%,was really strong but he didn't use force at times. He had nice left handed hook shot, good moves and could throw it down.I read an article about him in 1 interview where he personally said that he doesn't want to be flashy yet is that the reason why he isn;t a HOFer yet?I hope he will be there soon.Btw,with his total NBA/ABA career stat wise, his total rebounds rank Top 5 and in blocking shots too. Also,he was mentioned as the game's greatest left handed scorer too
Wes Unseld, from what should i start about him?Finals MVP,MVP,ROY,rebound titles(i think he won some). He's probably one of the most under-rated centers of all time.He was like 70% defense,30% offense yet dominating. He's one of the best rebounders, man to man defenders and post defenders, solid on blocking and scoring.True double-double machine with a good mid range bomb. Also he was known as a rock for making the best picks for the guards and the best outlet passer ever.
Nate Thurmond, again under-rated center yet dominating center. He never got his true credit because of Russell,Wilt etc. He's one of the most complete center of all time, the most skilled rebounders to me,one of the best pure shot blocker, great defender and nice offensive player.Double-double machine in his career and also under-rated passer that could set up good picks.Thurmond is considerd to have the best mix of all time because he had better offense then Russell but better defense then Wilt.Nate is one of the couple of players to averge 20/20 in a season
Btw,Gilmore is All Time NCAA leader in RPG
I know King and English are so under-rated,i hope they get their credit with beeing HOFers. And that guy you named is really under-rated,i haven't heard a lot about him but i read some biographies about him,Danthley was great
