| AI could start over Holiday...hmmmm...wouldn't it be perfect for AI to finish his career in a Sixers uniform? | |

I hope so. I think he'll be a very good NBA point guard. But I'd love to see Philly sign AI now...I think that would be a perfect real ending for AI's career. Well, that or a ring.

| I like the AI idea. Hes a much more capable version of Williams anyway.
I agree that Jrue can be good. He didn't play very well at UCLA in his freshman season, but he has great size and vision for a point guard, not to mention his athletic abilities. He played decently in his first NBA start, and I hope he can build upon it while Williams is out. I could even see him taking the starting job and Williams taking Willie Green's minutes of the bench.

Yeah, I'd love to see Holiday explode. What people overlook about his less-than-spectacular season at UCLA is the fact he wasn't playing his natural point guard position because of Collison. He was playing shooting guard and not in a system that worked particularly well for him. In fact, the one game he did play PG subbing for Collison (if I remember correctly), he played scored 20 points on 8-for-8 shooting, with a few rebounds and assists, only playing about 20 minutes.

| Agreed. Holliday is extremely talented, and usually, when guys like that get opportunities, they shine. | |

Yeah. Developing players with potential is about the only silver lining with injuries.

| If Jrue does prove to be a good PG, then it improves their rotation a lot, as Kapono and Green would no longer have to see such large minute shares. They would have the option to bring either one off the bench, finally giving them some depth at G that they lack because of Miller leaving for Portland. | |
