Two upsets this season so far, Rider defeats #19 Mississippi State 88-84, and Cal State Fullerton defeats UCLA 68-65 in 2OTs

The Rider over Miss State game happened last week so sorry I'm late. Rider has a chance to threaten a nearly top 25 Siena team in the Metro Atlantic.

Rider is a Southern New Jersey school and rooting for my state I'm incredibly happy to see them pull the 1st upset of the year.

Cal State Fullerton and UCLA was a great game at Pauley Pavilion. CSF was an NCAA Tourney team 2 years back but I'm stunned to see them upset UCLA in Pauley.

0-1 is probably not the way UCLA would'vand Mississippi State would've liked to start their seasons

I'm not pissed. Howland will get them set straight. We're just young. Nine of our twelve scholarship players are freshmen and sophomores. I'm not concerned...yet. My dad sure was pissed, though lol.

He didn't go to UCLA, but he's always been a huge fan of them. If you think I'm bad, you ain't seen nothing yet.

LOL...no, I just sent off my application for UCLA and I'd love to go there, but not quite.

My dad went there for like... half a year, then to WVU for 9 days (lol), and to Duke for the rest of college.

Worse...well, okay, not that bad. But I learned all my swear words when I was little from listening to him shouting at the TV when UCLA would fumble or a guy would miss a layup. And that would really piss Mom off lol.

lol my Dad went to Georgia Tech. That's why I root for the Yellow Jackets as one of my favorite teams too. They're the #20 ranked team in NCAA hoops this season and freshman star Derrick Favors is going to be a stud.

I've always liked UNC and attend Rutgers though(even though they suck at Bball)

I'm happy a local team Rider upset a Top 25 Mississippi State team too

I always root for the mid majors in our state

We'll see more of these upsets as the year goes on. That's why I love college hoops.

this is exactly why I'm drawn to College Hoops too. Last night we close to seeing the #1 and #2 teams going down 1st week of the season.

I love seeing out of conference power matchups as well.
