Nancy Lieberman to Coach Expansion D League Team for Dallas

So, current ESPN NBA and WNBA analyst Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman is going to try to fix her hand at coaching again, but this time, for men's basketball.

Sure this is the D League, and for many teams in the D League, few guys will ever play in the NBA for meaningful minutes, if at all, but I'll say that this is a good move for women coaching men in sports. Lieberman was an okay coach for the expansion Detroit Shock from 1998-2000, when she led the team to winning seasons in the first two of them, her last season was marred under an alleged affair with then starting PG Anna DeForge, which both deny. Either way, the lady is a hall of famer, she is considered to be the best point guard in women's basketball history, and she is knowledgeable in the game, so I think she will be a good teacher of the game to men who are looking for a chance to succeed at the professional level and perhaps get a chance to play in the NBA, as well as giving a chance for some PT for some young players on the Mavs who won't get much there because after all, that lineup right now is stacked.

That is totally AWESOME to hear.
As a female myself, I really love hearing stories of women rising above and making history in a male-dominated society (too lazy to get into a feminist rant so I will just focus on the positives about this situation).

I know this is only D league, but this is just a step in the direction of having female coaches for the NBA games. I know this will prolly be a while from now since our society is somewhat slow at times to allow certain groups to succeed in certain areas but one can always hope, right?
