| Syracuse has a reputation of being talented, but inconsistent. That's why they missed the big dance altogether numerous years during Boeheim's tenure and I am still wondering why he got in the HOF at the same time as Jim Calhoun. | |

me too. A loss like this even in an exhibition game is just dreadful no matter how inconsistent or consistent they are. Those LeMoyne kids looked excited to knock off a Giant. We already have a big upset and the season hasnt even started yet

| this happens sometimes. i dont think its really a big deal. its a great win for Le Moyne no doubt, but i wouldn't really expect this to have any effect on the rest of Syracuse's season. its not like this never happens, i remember ohio state lost an exhibition to some small ohio school a year or two ago. maybe it is bad coaching, but i doubt it. its just an example of a team not really being worried about a game. you know those Le Moyne guys were playing with heart to try to beat a big team. good for them, but syracuse would murder them if they really cared. | |

| true but Ohio State 2 years ago was in the NIT and if it was last year they were an NCAA toruney team at least
true LeMoyne probably wanted it more, but Jim Boehim has to be upset. Lucky for the Orange this game didn't count so it doesn't have an effect.
This still shows some weakness especially since they are playing in the best conference in America which is stacked from top to bottom

| id anything, itll have them more focused come the start of the season. this won't hurt them in the slightest. | |

Agreed. After all, #1 Virginia lost to Chaminade in the now-EA Sports Invitational back in the early 80's. That game however, did count for the rankings.

| that was the biggest upset in NCAA history.
Wisconsin did lose to South Dakota state I think once and make the Sweet 16 or Elite 8 one year.
Possibly this is a good wakeup call.
Syracuse lost Flynn,Devendorf, and Harris so they are missing talent from last year

| Rautins,Jackson, and Onuaku will be the stars for Cuse this year.
I didn't have them advancing past the 2nd Round. Devendorf and Harris really should've stayed though
