| I like the Jazz and want to see them much better than they were last season, so in these next couple of years they can be like what they were in 2006-2007 and make it back to the WCF because Sloan and the franchise is long overdo for a NBA Cahmpionship.
Boozer's presence on this team doesn't allow them to do this. He is a negative presence on the team and is to selfish to play within a team concept. He knew very well he wasn't coming back to the Jazz and still swindled them to extend his contract in full. Just to say that he wanted to be traded knowing that he would still be ensured contract $ this season from the Jazz and the new team he gets traded to. He did something very similar in Cleveland.
Not only this, but he is incapable of staying healthy. I have never seen a 27 year old with so much mileage and his presence on the team just gives them deadweight. Now Paul Millsap on the other hand is on the cusp of becoming a force to be reckoned with in the NBA. By trading away Boozer Millsap could have an even bigger splash than what he did last season.
Jazz have some good young talent and should make for a solid team without Boozer.

| I'm sure the Jazz want to get rid of him as well..
But they have no takers...and instead of just outright releasing him.... They might as well play out his contract...which has only 1 year left...

| I think in a couple of years Millsap will be better than Boozer. In fact, I see Boozer heading down the same road that Elton Brand has gone through. He will be irrelevant in a couple of more seasons, like I think Brand is irrelevant now. Such, up and comers, like David Lee, LaMarcus Aldridge, Al Jefferson, Chris Kaman (always has the ability to be a premier talent just doesn't always live up to it), Andris Biedrins, etc. will all be better and more effective than Carlos Boozer. | |

| I would rather have Jermaine O'Neal over Carlos Boozer because even with all the injuries and JO not being even an inch of what he once was is still more of a complete player than what Carlos Boozer is.
In fact, some glimpses of vintage JO showed through in the playoffs last season, which is always good to see and he should build upon that.

| 2 down seasons for Elton Brand and I never thought he was all that good to begin with. I consider him a stat padder the likes of Zach Randolph. Only Elton Brand was luckier than Zach Randolph when Sam Cassell came along. I think it was Cassell, not Brand that was the leader of that team. I mean before Cassell Brand has been paired up with numerous talented players in his career and they failed to make the playoffs with players, like Ron Artest, Andre Miller, Corey Maggette, Lamar Odom, Quentin Richardson & Darius Miles (when they were good), Chris Kaman, etc.
Cassell came in and he took the Clippers to their first playoff appearance, since Larry Brown was coach. Not only that, but Cassell was named All-NBA Team that season. Brand had a good showing in the 1st Round against the Nuggets and completely fell apart against the Suns in the semis. If it wasn't for Cassell Clippers would have not gone the full 7 against the Suns.
As, for Boozer he just seems like a whiny and unhealthy brat that when things don't go his way he complains about them. Also he seems to take off in some plays and not give it his all.

| The same thing goes for your team to VISA. I always respected Gilbert Arenas as one of the best offensive talents in the NBA when healthy and in full take control of game mode. Nevertheless, I have always felt that it is between Caron Butler or Antawn Jamison (w. Jamison's more years of exp. I am leaning slightly towards Jamison) as the 2 best overall players that you guys have and Gilbert Arenas as the 3rd.
I mean in 2006-2007 there's no denying that the Wizards were better without Gilbert Arenas. In fact, when he came back didn't it ruin the chemistry and the Wizards fell from fighting to get homecourt advantage to making the playoffs as a 7th seed? 2008-2009's season wasn't because Washington missed Arenas it was because a lot more injuries occured to that team than just Arenas and they involved key players. Washington had to rely on a young and inexperienced core. However, I still think that Washington would be better off without Arenas, especially now after getting Foye and Miller, but let's just see how Arenas comes into this season.

| But remember in05- 06 with a healthy gilbert we were # 1 in the east at the all star break because of gilbert, The 06-07 season was just because gilbert wasnt fully healthy and he admits that now, So he tried to prove that he was healthy by jacking up a bunch of shots. But Gilbert is a great scorer and an underrated passer, He averages 7 assists but people call him a ballhog. I definetly think were better with gilbert, 29 ppg and 6.9 APG along with 2 SPG and 48% shooting isnt bad. | |

| Yeah true, but thing is do you think that he will be healthy enough to perform at that level again. At that level being 26 or so PPG with all the great additions being made to Washington and a new system for him to work with under Flip Saunders? | |

| I mean Butler/Jamison are good for 20+ PPG between both of them
A healthy Mike Miller has proved to be good for 15-19 PPG depending on whether he is a starter or 6th Man
Foye has come off a season averaging career bests thus far of 16+ PPG
Stevenson, Haywood, Young, Blatche, and maybe a healthy Mike James are all capable of being consistent double digit scorers.
Will there be enough cohesion for Arenas to be the old Arenas and would he buy into what Flip Saunders wants to do is the question. VC's acquisition may be a chemistry problem for Orlando at first. Washington should try to get off to a fast start and put last season behind them, so that they can grab homecourt.

| him and flip have a great relationship they say that they call eachother and that gilbert will be an extention of flip on the court, Gilbert is a scoring PG like chauncey, flip did great with billups. about him being healthy: Lebron james, andre igudala and Qrich have all tweeted saying that arenas is back and better than ever, Lebron said he's about 95% and he's even quicker than before. Iggy said gilbert looks like a better shooting version of chris paul. and Q rich responded to iggys tweet and said yeh gils back..in true point gaurd mode. If these guys say it i believe it. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/wizardsinsider/2009/08/lebron_james_on_arenass_rehab. | |

Well gilbert has made it known that he's the leader and he's already predicted his stats. 24 ppg,11 APG and 7 rebounds. he wants to lead the league in triple doubles next year. He said he's through being a scoring PG. Everyone and they momma knows gil can score. He wants rings now and said he'll focus more on defense. You might think im smoking weed but I think washington will grab the 3rd seed in the east. When you look at the top teams in the east...we always beat all of them besides orlando.

| True I am convinced if the great Q.Rich said it, it must be true then. He holds a lot of wisdom within that head of his. The headband is said to contain mystical powers that can predict the future. That's why he hits his head after every scored basket to give him an edge to see into the future.
I am looking forward to watching the Wizards. Hopefully, they'll be back to full form. It's been a long time, since they beat Chicago to reach the semis and I've always liked the Wizards. By any chance would you want either Jared Jeffries back. Please take him out of our hands.
