DeShawn Stevenson is now a Phoenix Suns?

DeShawn Stevenson may have proved to be an idiot by running his mouth out against LeBron James because LBJ23 quickly shut him up, but other than this Stevenson hasn't been that bad of a player. I mean he is a double digit scorer and Washington's best 3 point threat. The best thing he can give Phoenix is his defense though he was Washington's best perimeter defender and Phoenix needs a lot of that. As, much as the Wizards improved I think this makes them less deep now and it is a step in the right direction for Phoenix now they get younger and get a little defense on the side. Not enough though if they want back in the playoffs they need more defense than just this.

If DeShawn goes to Phoenix, who is on the Suns that are worth it for us? He's not gonna be released or bought out so he has to be traded. Grant Hill seems to be the most logical option, since he's a wing player. He's still good after all those injuries, but he's 37 when the season starts. Second, maybe trying to get Taylor Griffin and Robin Lopez maybe could make sense if we need more big men, but these guys are unproven.

DeShawn gets a bad rap just because he called out LeBron. He never said he was a superstar, he never will. But when he's quiet, he does give us threes, can bring the ball up the court and call plays and play man to man decently.
