| Going from not earlier than 1999 till 2010
For ex. 2003 Draft Class has like 6-7 stars right now. Same for 2004 Draft Class. But the 4 big names of the 2003 Draft overshadow the 2004 even(tie) class based on talent.
So what do you think? Which Draft Class has the most established stars in the league right now? And which Draft Class will have the most stars in about 4-5 years?
Note: Just guess for the 2nd one..

| 2003 have easily most superstars and stars
2006 isn't bad as well,you have Roy,Rondo,Aldridge if not i'm not mistaken
2005 is the second best, led by the likes of Williams,Paul,Bogut etc
2007,you have Durant,Oden,Noah,Horford,Conley and Green but aside of Durant, the others could be regarded as stars but even that is for debate
2008,2009,2002 are ok

| It's gotta be 03. Obviously because of LBJ, Wade, Melo and Bosh.. but there was also David west, Chris Kaman, Josh Howard, Leandro Barbosa, Kirk Hinrich, Boris Diaw, Luke Ridnour, Mikael Pietrus, and Travis Outlaw.
Some of those guys aren't THAT good.. but a lot of those guys were on winning teams and they were a big part of those winning teams. Some of those guys.. Some of those guys are just solid role players that could be nice pieces to a winning team.
Next closest is 05.. but it's not close enough to make me choose them.
it's not really fair to use the last 3 drafts cuz sometimes it takes a player about 2-3 years to break out of their shell.

| Bold - Made an All-NBA team Italics - Made an All-Star team
1999 had a lot of good players:
E. Brand R. Artest S. Marion M. Ginobili B. Davis R. Hamilton A. Kirilenko S. Francis W. Szczerbiak A. Miller L. Odom J. Terry C. Maggette
2001 wasn't as deep, but it might have been better than 1999:
Pau Gasol Tony Parker Joe Johnson Gilbert Arenas Gerald Wallace Zach Randolph Mehmet Okur Jason Richardson Shane Battier Richard Jefferson
Everyone knows about 2003, but it lacks depth, and it's mid-level stars aren't that good:
LeBron James Dwyane Wade Carmelo Anthony Chris Bosh Chris Kaman David West Josh Howard Mo Williams Kendrick Perkins
Those are probably the three best, as far as what the players in them have done in their careers. It's really close between those three, but I'd take 2001 as the best draft class. James, Wade, and Anthony are all top-level superstars, but I like the depth of the 2001 class more.
As far as best future class, I sort of like 2004 and 2008. I know 2004 was already six years ago, but I think they have a lot of late bloomers. Josh Smith, Al Jefferson, Kevin Martin, and Trevor Ariza are all starting to turn into featured players on decent teams, rather than complimentary ones. Dwight Howard, Jameer, and Harris are already stars (though Dwight is the only bonafide superstar). Ben Gordon and Andy Varejao also have the potential to become better players. However, the 2008 draft class just jumps out as really good. Rose, Beasley, Westbrook, Lopez, Gordon, and Love are already getting a lot of attention. But there's also Mayo, Hibbert, Gallinari, Augustine, and Bayless. There's also guys who are just starting to get minutes like Speights, Thompson, McGee, Rush, and Dragic. Hickson, Ibaka, George Hill, and Batum. It's a very deep draft.
