Both teams have great big 3s and great team defense, but the Celtics' defense was made to stop perimeter play-makers like Pippen and Jordan. I like Rodman defending a lot of people, but I don't like him defending KG. Too much of a height and length advantage. I'd also give the Celtics a big advantage as far as the bench.

Only Kukoc and Kerr would come off the bench for more than 5 minutes a game for the Bulls. The Celtics had Posey, Cassell, Powe (who was very underrated that year), House, PJ Brown, and Glen Davis. The Bulls center was Luc Longley, and he would just get bullied around by KG and Perkins inside.

I think MJ and Pippen would get their points and make their plays, but they wouldn't do it as efficiently as the normally would. I don't think the Celtics have the personnel to put just one man on Jordan, but they would more effectively than any team Jordan faced that season. Just like they've done to Kobe, LeBron, and a few other great perimeter players, they'd have no problem limiting your plays, but they would limit your efficiency. That's enough for them to win this series.
