What a game..Barbosa chocked, even though he played great till the last secs.
Splitter was good, he seems like a great rebounder and he got some decent post moves.This nonamed PG seemed like great with this weak perimeter defense(they can't change in the screens wtf)

USA has indeed trouble against good big mens and they miss a lot of defense when they play with Rose-Billups at guards and Durant-Odom in. Billups can't keep up with them and end's up fouling, Rose has been a bad defender so far. Odom can't keep up with good Center's and it's not a bad thing because he's SF in PF's body. Durant on the other hand can be a good defender when he wants. All in all, USA needs to play Chandler more, Westbrook and mabe Iggy.

I don't think USA will win. I want them to though. I'm hoping more for Curry to stay healthy than for him to play.

I just feel like this USA squad won't have much of a chance...like they disppear on offense for long stretches of the game and even though they went 5-0, you won't win a championship that way

They coast too much. They have an okay team... good enough to pull out wins even with Chandler and his butter fingers and the only legit center.

But turning it on and off, lack of experience, no real leader (Chauncey isn't cutting it)...

It makes for sloppy looking play. I makes them look weak.

Let's throw in the fact that Pau Gasol, Parker, Manu, Dirk, Yao, Nene, Okur... aren't playing.

FIBA is not the World Championship. FIBA is International federation of basketball that means NBA = 2 countries Canada and USA right? FIBA = Europe, Asia, Africa. Wanna bet which is more popular?

Less than 10% Europians watch NBA

naaahhhh. fiba is kinda crappy as far as talent comparison. i seen lots of shit where people in europe just be wishin to watch the nba regularly
