Ultimately, the roster changes made to my team, the Warriors, have been for the far worse. First we trade our three best bench players for David Lee. Fine. But David Lee just dislocated his finger. Woop-de-goddamn-de-doo! Then, they let their next two best bench players walk for nothing in Morrow and CJ Watson. Morrow is arguably the best 3 point specialist in the league, and he's only played 2 years. C.J. completely humiliated the Kings and that's all that needs to be said. They sort of made up for it by getting Dorell Wright, but fuck, this dude posted pictures of his dick on twitter and got like two DUI charges last year! SMH...it's going to be a long season for me and other Warriors fans, and I have little to no expectations.

on a lighter note...what about you?

for the better.

Boozer gives us post scoring. something we have been missinng since Elton Brand.

Korver is one of the best 3 pt. shooters in the league.. and chicago was almost dead last in the league last season in 3's.

CJ watson will be okay of the bench. he can do a little but of everything.

Brewer is a good defender and a good finisher.

I expect to win 50 games. But we'll see

For the better.

Blake was about as good a signing imaginable when it comes to addressing multiple needs with one player through limited means. He's a very good outside shooter. He has made 39 percent of his shots from beyond the arc in his career, and over 40 percent in 2006, 2008, 2009 and the Clippers section of his 2010 season. As a point guard, he's more of an actual distributor than someone who can pass but is equally/more interested in scoring. Blake can score, but doesn't feel compelled to at all costs. He's smart and can adapt to different systems. As a defender, he's more scrappy and willing than hugely accomplished, but certainly adequate. All in all, he's a pretty solid addition

Got: Al Harrington, Shelden Williams
Lost: Johan Petro, Linas Kleiza
Could have had: Jermaine O'Neal, Udonis Haslem
Players who are still free agents: Joey Graham, Malik Allen
Resigned: Anthony Carter

Well it doesn't really look like Denver will resign Graham or Allen, and we lost Petro and Kleiza (although Kleiza probably wouldn't have came back to Denver), so eh. I would rather have the Nuggets resign Joey Graham than Anthony Carter because as of right now, there is no backup to Carmelo Anthony, and we're trying to make him stay. Al Harrington is an alright pickup, I guess, but considering we could have had O'Neal or Haslem, it's kind of disappointing.

Additions: Amar'e Stoudemire, Raymond Felton, Kelenna Azubuike, Timofey Mozgov, Anthony Randolph, Ronny Turiaf,Landry Fields, & Jerome Jordan

Subtractions: David Lee, Al Harrington, Tracy McGrady (most likely), Chris Duhon, Eddie House (most likely)

Kept: Bill Walker, Earl Barron

It's a wait and see really. Getting Amar'e gives us a All-Star F he won't be as good as he was when he had Nash, but I'm excited about Felton and glad we got rid of Duhon. Douglas is gonna be a major part of the rotation as well and I can't wait to see him get the minutes he can ball. Felton gives Amar'e a playmaker and Felton can defend and looks for his shot.

Losing Lee is killer in my book but at least we got things out of it. Kelenna can ball could be a possible 6 MOY in a D'Antoni styled team. If not his expiring contract makes for a great trade piece. Randolph gives us length and is full of potential and Turiaf is instant energy and d off the bench. They can also be used as future trade pieces

Timofey Mozgov gives us a tough and athletic legit 7 footer that can defend, block, and works well under and around the rim. Something we've needed for years. Jerome Jordan gives us this as well he's shown potential. Just needs to do a better job staying on the floor gotta watch those fouls.

Landry Fields is a BEAST look out!!!

All in all NY may have something here especially with Gallo and Chandler getting better and better. Gallo will be NY's top scorer this upcoming season as our 2nd best player. It's gonna be his biggest breakout year to date his 3rd season (really 2nd full season at least hopefully if he has another injury free season).

Better. If you could've asked me to pick a PG we could've signed realistically, I would've picked Blake. Add in (probably) our second round draft picks to the end of the bench, and it's been a good summer. Still disappointed about Raja Bell going to the Jazz instead of LA, but we addressed our most serious need; a solid PG who can absorb half the minutes or more and give Fish rest, who is a good passer and 3 point shooter.

Other than Blake, though, not much going on. I won't miss Farmar, Powell is apparently close to signing with the Hawks (bummer, I like Powell) and I have no fucking clue what Mbenga will do but I'm not that concerned lol. And it sounds like Brown might come back with a smaller deal or something. So yeah, good summer for us.
