| one day imma be mayor of my city(parma.. not cleveland), just because i can
we're losing a lot of residetns and money in this city. casinos were resently legalized in ohio.
could i just have the city build a bunch of casinos, thus drawing in shitloads of money(i know taxes would be crazy, but they'd go down as the casnios got money)? or is that not legal or soemthing?

| Lol @ sk
Is it theoretically possible? Well, yes...if you hike taxes enough and get the necessary support (political, financial, etc.); but then, colonizing Mars is also theoretically possible. Is it practical? Not really...if people and money are fleeing your town, good luck getting the board (or whatever) to authorize opening a bunch of casinos to raise money to bring people back. Is it politically feasible? Hell to the no. A mayor attempting to open a bunch of casinos for the stated purpose of "raising revenue" would look incredibly shady and whoever your political opponent is could have a field day with you. To say nothing of how pissed everyone would be with you for raising taxes, even IF you were authorized to in the first place. You'd be ousted in no time.
Or, I'm completely wrong and you turn Parma into the Vegas of the North, and bring in a massive influx of cash and citizens...but I'm not sure you'd want Parma to become a Las Vegas clone anyway. You might want to stick with more traditional, tried-and-true methods.

lol...he'll live. Bet he makes a trade thread when the draft is finished where you have a few days of trading before matchups are made, and he makes an obscene offer for Howard.

| Lmao, I'll say no to all of them.
Unless it involves Lawson, Gibson, Carmelo, AND a C like Yao or Bynum.
And I doubt he will be able to get all thsoe players

Oh, I don't think we do, but it wouldn't surprise me if SK suggested it.

| I dunno. I'd like to, because barring something like that Bynum for Boozer-and-Okur swap, I'm pretty much done trading. I like my team; I think it's beast. | |
