| Probably like the 13th or 12th best center of all-time...he isn't competitive enough yet. | |

| How isn't he competitive enough yet? He's already led his team to two ECF appearances, and has won one. And let's say he isn't competitive enough YET, isn't this about how he'll end up? | |

| He could be much more dominant than he is, with his physical ability...
And I said "yet" because I'm not giving up on him.

| I think he will be consider in the Top 5/10 defensive centers when it's all said and done. But to reach the overall Top 10,he will need a lot more... | |

coming from someone who thinks Greg Oden will be "great nba future center".. I'd happy if Oden achieves 50% of what Howard so far....duh,you don't know what might happen.I don't want to start another debate I said Dwight will be Top 10 at least(in worst case) defensive centers.I think he will be in the Top 5,perhaps even better but we don't know for sure.... And to crack the top 10 overall center,he will have hard time to against Robinson,Reed,Cowens and so on

| For Dwight to break into a top ten list of all time centers, he has to develop an offensive game. He already has tremendous defense, and at the rate he's going should easily be one of the top defensive centers of all time. | |

Also:It will take while for him to develop his offense,i say in his prime because that's when the strength, speed go down and your skills need to simply be on the best level.I say Dwight's offense will be just better and better

| One thing the league is lacking in is true centers.
I can't really rank him that high because his competition isn't really all that great.
So I'd say he's one of the better defensive centers (top 10 as of now), but for all-time he probably won't make it that high on my list.

Oh I forgot about Yao. But then again, Yao is injured alot. Besides Yao Ming, his toughest competition is Andrew Bynum and *sigh*, Greg Oden.
