| T-mac isn't supposed to be in the competition. Kobe is the top right now, but I know that Wade is really almost there. | |

| Wade is a better at penetrating, passing, finishing, and defense. The only thing Kobe has on him is jump shooting, with the biggest difference being Wade's poor 3 point shooting percentage. At this moment, Wade is a better overall player than Kobe Bryant, and the best all around player in the NBA. | |

Good point but LeBron is the most all around player in the league now

Good point but LeBron is the most all around player in the league now I like Wade for it more because of his defense. Late in games, Wade is always playing some lock down defense as well as going hard to the rim on offense. LeBron is only better than Wade at rebounding, an you don't ever see him going really hard on defense one on one. That's why I like Wade, especially since they are basically equal on offense.

Good point but LeBron is the most all around player in the league now Agreed with Darko. Wade is an all-around player but LeBron may average a triple-double or close to it some time in his career. I don't see that happening with Wade.

| See, but getting a triple double doesn't mean you a better than another player if he is better finisher, free throw shooter, defender and you are just a better defender. | |

| You have your opinion, I have mine. From what I've seen Wade offers more to a team than LeBron does because of how good he has gotten defensively. | |

Ok,but when LeBron didn't had good supporting cast at all(2007-08) he showed great all around game and put like 30/8/7

| This is where you lose me. Overall statistical numbers don't mean anything when comparing the league's best players. The only ones that matter at all are the efficiency numbers like shooting percentage and assist to turnover ratio, and even those are related to the situations they are in. The best way to compare the best to the best is to look at what they do with in-game situations. From what I have seen, Wade hits more jump shots than LeBron does and plays more defense in game. Wade is also better at finishing near the rim. This combined with the jump shooting leads Wade to shoot a better percentage despite being a worse three point shooter (31 % to 34 %). LeBron is obviously a better rebounder, but if I had a team with a good supporting cast a only a need for a superstar, I'd rather have Wade, for what he would be able to do when playing at full speed for every minute in the playoffs. His defense is amazing, but he conserves his energy at that end because his team needs him offensively. Even when it's late in the game, LeBron doesn't do a very good job shutting down his man. | |

| Dwayne Wade is now a better defender than Kobe, has always been a better passer, and is a better driver and finisher. The only thing Kobe had over Wade is shooting, but when Kobe plays on a better team, and is supposed to be a better shooter, why is it Wade, being smaller than Kobe, shoots a much higher percentage. So even if Kobe is a better shooter, which he is, it doesn't matter because people know Wade isn't a very good three point shooter, yet he still shots better than 50% from the field. | |

| Ok, maybe I was a little biased. They are pretty much tied, if you watch a Heat or Laker game Kobe and Wade will do the exact same things. They are pretty good drivers, great shooters, and don't rely on the 3. If they are the top 2 now, D-Wade will have the better career. Then some new SG will take the place of D-Wade, that is just how it is. | |

| Like JC said, Kobe and Wade basically do the exact same things. I just think Kobe is more skilled at them | |

| Sure, I will agree, Kobe does them more skilled and D-Wade does them more often. | |

| Kobe doesn't go to the lane anymore because he can't. If he does, why is his shooting percentage so much lower than Dwayne Wade's, despite Wade's poor three point shooting? Wade is also a much better defender. If he had a good team around him he could expend more energy on the defensive end and prove he is one of the league's best overall defenders, whether on ball or away from it. | |
