First, which is the best division in the NBA by TEAMS.
Second, which is the best division in the NBA by PLAYERS.

Teams:
Northwest, definitely. Thunder (50 wins), Jazz (53 wins), Blazers (50 wins), and Nuggets (53 wins). They are hald of the Western Conference's play-off teams. All 4 teams are well above .500 in conference records, and it is a really tight race in the division.

Northwest vs Southeast:
Jazz<Magic
Nuggets>Hawks
Blazers>Heat
Thunder>Bobcats

Northwest vs Southwest:
Jazz<Mavericks
Nuggets>Spurs
Blazers>Rockets
Thunder>Grizzlies

Players:
Out of top players:

Garnett, Pierce, Lee, Iguodala, Rondo, Allen, Bosh, Calderon, Harris, Lopez

James, O'Neal, Rose, Williams, Granger, Prince, Noah, Jennings, Bogut, Jamison

Howard, Johnson, Wade, Smith, Wallace, Arenas, Nelson, Carter, Horford, O'Neal

Anthony, Williams, Durant, Roy, Billups, Aldridge, Boozer, Westbrook, Smith, Jefferson

Bryant, Gasol, Odom, Nash, Stoudemire, Evans, Curry, Ellis, Artest, Bynum

Nowitzki, Duncan, Parker, Ginobli, Butler, Kidd, Yao, Paul, Brooks, Ariza

This is harder :/
Southeast: Howard + Wade + Johnson + Arenas + everyone else..
Pacific: Lakers 5 (Bynum, Odom, Gasol, Artest, Bryant) + Suns Nash and Stoud.

Ugh. Honestly, Pacific seems better.

____
Weird topic, but oh well.
So heres another question.
What Soon-to-be-Rookie would you like on your favorite NBA team?

I'd take either Demarcus Cousins (Power Forward + Dwight at Center.. Best/toughest division in NBA Icon_eek) or Evan Turner (more athletic, younger, CHEAPER, Hedo Turkuglo)

I'm gonna say Northwest for both...

Team-wise because there were four teams with 50+ wins...nuff said

Player-wise:
Durant - Scoring champion
Carmelo - 3rd in scoring
Roy - 20+ PPG
Billups - 20 PPG
Boozer - 20/11
Aldridge - 18/8
Westbrook - 16/8
Jefferson - 17/10

Probably Demarcus Cousins...because Kenyon Martin is ooooold

Northwest had four 50 win teams and it's in the Western Conference.

Southeast is a distant second with four playoff teams and a legitimate championship contended. Their division ended up with more total wins than the Northwest did.

Northwest has the best talent top to bottom. How many good teams that are in their division shows it. Deron Williams, Brandon Roy, Carmelo Anthony, and Kevin Durant are all top 10 MVP candidates. There is also next level All Star caliber players like Chauncey Billups and Carlos Boozer. Lots of solid supporting players too, with Andre Miller, Marcus Camby, Russell Westbrook, Jeff Green, Nene, JR Smith, etc.

Pacific and Southeast are close behind. The Pacific has 2 of the top 5 teams in the league, and the Southeast has a couple stars and solid players to go around.

I want John Wall. He's the most talented. At the pick we're probably gonna have, I want Greg Monroe from Georgetown.

I really dont think the Pacific is anywhere near the best division in the league. THey have 3 teams that didnt even get 30 wins and the Suns who either 1. miss the playoffs or 2. have a great season but do terrible in the playoffs
