You were a giant lapping seadog.
Of outlandish female variety.
Smacking your loose lips.
Slurping from the receding shore.
You were an animal.

We, we were a drought.
A plague among nations.
We were Ocean and Animal.
Thirsting for something more.

I am a now a basin.
A salt filled hole.
I am a basin.

She is my new found light.
