"Last year it took three injuries for Mo [Peterson] to be an All-Star when we were the best team in the league also," James said. "So once again we're the best team in the league and Mo got no consideration. Shaq got no consideration. We also got three of the five top 3-pointers in the league [Williams, Daniel Gibson, Anthony Parker], and we have no shooters in the 3-point shooting contest (last) night.

Shaq's 11 PPG/6RPG isn't even close to being good enough to be in the all-star game

and they have 3 of the best 3pt. shooters percentage wise.

Gibson is shooting 48% from the three point line.. but he's only taking 2.5 3's a game.. Do you think he would be shooting 48% if he was taking like 5 3's a game like some guys in the 3pt. shoot out?

Parker is taking 3 3's a game and shooting 45%... again.. if he was taking 4-5 3's a game shooting the same percentage, then yeah he should have been in

the only thing Mo williams does better than Rose is steal the ball and shoot 3's... thats it.

Rose- 19.6 PPG, 5.7 APG [with no good shooters on the team] 3.7 RPG, 47% from the field

Mo- 16.9 PPG, 5.1 APG [with a lot of shooter] 3.1 RPG 45% from the field

Rose is the reason why we're in the playoff race... Mo is just helping out the cavs... they can clearly win without him...

I actually thought Shaq would make the bench this year. NOT because he deserves it, but because of his popularity.

LeBron's rant is off base. There's no other Cav that deserves it this year.

Gasol made the all star team mainly cause of team success. Remember he was rattled with a bunch of injuries and had a few inconsistent games. If we went with TALENT then probably someone like Chris Kaman would make it but we all know why he didnt make it

Horford made it in as the 5th option mainly cause his team was good. If we went by talent initially Lee would make it.

We all remember that the Pistons with Chaucey always got a nice number of all stars

Heck David West made it in one year

he's averagin 17 PPG, 11 RPG, 3.5 APG and shooting 53% from the field.. that isn't good enough to be an all-star?!
Kaman is averaging 20 PPg, 9 RPG, 2 APG and shooting 49% from the field

and billups always got in because he was one of the better overall PG's in the east..

I was kinda referring more to Rip and Sheed when i said the Pistons got a bunch of all stars

The only real reason Mo didnt get in is cause he had a serious injury and honestly i dont even want him in it cause he might aggravate it.

I am pretty sure LeBron DOESN'T mean it. It was just a lame attempt to hype his team mates up. I don't see this any different from saying Wade's dunk over varejao was a "top 10 all time" lol...

Anyway, (even if he meant to say it) LeBron is the only true All-Star in the Cavs line up. Mo is injured and Shaq had enough with all-star games lol.

And btw,what about Carlos Boozer who's playing on Top 5 PF level this year,i mean he has beat a lot of great Power Forwards in their match ups,is on a tear and is averging 19 ppg,10 rpg!

Best record in the NBA should at least get some consideration for 3pt shootout. At least.

We didnt really have anybody else that desereved to get into the game itself...but 3pt shootout....for sure.

yeah, kinda doesn't make sense when the best team in the nba has one representative in the entire all star weekend. mo might have been able to squeak into the all star game had he been healthy, but he didn't really deserve to make it. neither did shaq. but either gibson or parker should have been considered for the the three point shoot out. i mean, channing frye? really? gtfo.
