Why Isnt Andrea Bargnani Getting Any Love for A Possible All Star Reserve

Starters have been chosen and many people have been talking about reserves but Andrea is never mentioned. Right now possible reserve centers in the east include Shaq(hasnt played that well though), Lee, Noah, Horford, Rasheed,etc.

Here is my take on this. The Raptors are an over .500 team right now and Bargs is their second best player. He is easily better than any centers on the teams that are currently ranked ahead of him and close to his teams record (He is playing better than shaq) and is better than the rest of the centers in the playoff contension in the east! The only centers i think that can make an exception of bargs are David Lee and Brook Lopez but as shown in previous years unless u are a tru star, coaches look at the team record and the Nets suk and the Knicks arent at 40% yet.

The only real argument i see is that he isnt a true big man but he is listed at center and is a great player.

At the beginning of the season; Bargnani was kinda inconsistent with his shooting.
These days, I see improvement with regards to staying consistent. In addition, he is working harder at improving his rebounding. A prime example is when he had 17 rebounds (I forget against who) but for him, that is amazing considering he needs work in that department. He is beginning to overcome his laziness and is truly stepping up now.

But Lee is deserving too...

But many all stars in the past have been snubbed for team record so i dont see whats that wrong with Bargs getting in over lee.

Agreed CO. He deserves to be in there.

Lee was snubbed last year as well. I do believe that Bargnani is a deserving All-Star even moreso than a year ago/ But, Lee is even more deserving than a year ago as well and that's saying something cause Lee had a very good year last year. I can't stand to see player continually being snubbed, so that's why I say Lee deserves it a lot this year. Especially, now that he has added an outside game to his game and he's just beasting. If Shaq is an All-Star I'll kill someone.

IM going to to be honest
Despite Shaq having a pretty bad year except for maybe a few games, he will get in
All star game is all abour entertainment, which apparently is shaqs middle name.

Anyway, I think you are right CO; I have a strong feeling that Shaq willl make the team...
