Could Danilo Gallinari break Ray Allen's record for most 3's made in a single season

In just his 2nd year in the NBA?

Ray Allen made an NBA all-time single season record for most 3's made w./ 269 in the 2005-2006 season. Shooting .416% from 3.

Right now Danilo Gallinari has made an NBA leading 109 3's. And Gallinari is shooting .406% from 3.

What makes me think this is possible is that sometimes Gallinari has shot 10-14 3's in 1 game and he's had games where he'd make 5-8 of them. Shooting .500% from 3 @ times.

He's 161 3pt'ers away from breaking the record, so if he gets his 3pters up to about 120 something before All-star break he has a shot.

Records are good achievments but they are set to be broken from someone else.Danillo has a chances i think if he gets good mintues,lots of chances,he has a great oportunity to break that record because he's a sharp shooter

True, but I think some records are safe.

No one will ever touch John Stockton's assist record or Ray Allen's most 3 pointers made once he beats out Reggie cause Ray is a shooter, so he'll have a good 4-5, maybe even 6 years left to add on to his totals. Kareem at 1 in Points looks unbreakable also.

Morrow/Ganilari are good shooters who could touch Ray's record

Stocthon's record is in danger as long as Paul's active and has good total

Durant and LNJ can beat Kareem's record

No way CP3 gets to where Stockton's record is he would have to play to 40 to put up those assists. Bron and Durant can, but highly unlikely Malone and Jordan palyed into their 40's and they couldn't even come close. Miller got all those 3's playing into his 40's. Ray got them in his mid 30's and he still has a good 5-6 years to add to that. These numbers are just way too high.

James,Durant and Kobe have chances of beating Kareem's record for points,Allen for three pointers but the rebound and assist record are safe for a while.Oden and Howard are good threats for Hakeem's blocking record.. IMO

But we're talking about Ganilari's chances of beating that record right

Nah.. i dont think he'll break the record. He isn't on pace to break it and he has been on and off all season long.. Unless he sticks to JUST taking 3's haha.. or if he took like 8 a game

Danilo is great three point shooter.Give him chance and he will attack that record...
