| Jay-Z is part owner of the Nets and has done absolutely nothing to influence them or help them out.
Instead he's at Yankees parades, and Knicks games when he should be doing what his job is as part owner of Nets.
The Nets in a matter of 6 years went from Eastern Conference Champions and one of the most exciting teams in the NBA to an absolute pathetic joke of an NBA team.
Nets management and their salary dropping ways and trying to ship them to Brooklyn instead of actually caring about winning has put the Nets in this hole and it's a disgrace.
I think Jay-Z and the majority owner of the Nets should've done their job as owner.
At least I know the Russian cares about winning

| Nah they are only trying to give these young nets some experience/ gametime and give them the ball more, like most other team they are waiting to dip into the free agency of 2010, i reackon its a good plan... give young players like Lopez, Williams, Lee, and C-D-R some time for improvement, however this can backfire on th players' morale...
Courtney Lee, Rafer Alston and Tony Battie went from eastern conference champions last year with the Magic, to last in the LEAGUE... i woud be so pissed.
PG - Devin Harris SG - Courtney Lee SF - Terrence Williams PF - (Should be Sean Williams) C - Brooke Lopez - Chris Douglas Roberts
i can see them in about 3 years deep into the playoffs its all about next year.. THE BROOKLYN NETS

| Jay Z is a closeted Knicks fan even in his song he mentioned the Knicks 1st and Nets 2nd, goes to a lot of Knicks games, and I say who can blame him the whole tristate area is dominated by Knicks fans the Nets have always played 2nd fiddle to the Knicks. Even when NJ went to back to back Finals and the Knicks were utterly terrible in those years still no one went to the Nets home games in the NBA Finals. I remember in 1999 when the Knicks became the only team in NBA history to make it to the NBA Finals those tickets were sold out in MSG when SA came to town. No offense to the Nets, they may not be my team, but are my homestate team and I feel bad for them. | |
