Btw,we should also have a rank in total standings like for example,#1 has 50-43 etc

I agree, because Kibby never votes and probably never will so he will always be at the top of the list. We need to think about this. Unfortunately I went from #5 to #20 in one week. Shocker

As the season, progresses, we'll see who keeps up playing and who doesn't. We may end up having to factor in amount of games picked, but for now, we'll see how it goes. Hopefully Kibby will return to play the game when he can. Thanks for the feedback though, everyone's ideas and opinions are welcomed, since this is all for fun anyway, and we want to keep all players interested.

I agree much more with this ranking. The way we have it now is not how an NBA record standing is and Kibby would definately not be #1. That's like saying that your judging wheather an NBA team should enter the playoffs based off their winning percental. It doesn't happen.

They also play the same amount of games, though. We may be able to come up with a compromise, but we'll see. If you'd like you can ask other users as well. If there are enough that agree, then we might as well change the rankings order to a different criteria. I can think of a few options.

I like it because it's not like the NFL game we have where it's once a week.

NBA games take place everyday and not everybody has time to sign on and make picks every day.

Maybe we can set a certain minimum

Thats why its the way it is now, but Rockets Fan does have a point with Kibby, who hasn't picked since the first couple of days. I've picked every game so far, which is the only reason I'd be second in that new form of ranking. Maybe we can base something off of percentage of total picks made. Then the question would be, where do you put the players who's percentages don't make the cut. I'm gonna think on it today, and bring it up with some other users, as well as some possible solutions. I'm not sure if a change will be made, but its a possibility.

there's also something I thought of where there are new members that join and maybe start playing this game really late.

I think think the percentage thing is great. Just maybe a minimal amount.

I almost never come on during the weekends and dont have time to make picks alot so I havent made as many picks as most others.

During the NFL picks game I created the weekly winners think so people who come in late can still win as I list the weekly winners throughout the years

I don't think it really takes away from anybody that is doing well to have Kibby up there, as we can all tell who's been playing and who hasn't. I also don't feel like there is any solution that is as welcoming to new players as this one is. The rankings are just for fun, and its not as if the winner gets anything. Its just there to let you know how you're doing.

I agree it's just a fun game.

It doesn't take anything away having Kibby #1. He's 7-1 and we can tell that was probably only 1 or 2 days of picking.

That's a reason I made my NFL pick game the way it is. So that people can join late or that aren't active feel like they won something by having weekly standings and rankings
