Giving them another capable double-digit scorer and another overall scorer type player. Thus, making the Pacers (5th highest scoring team in the NBA/2nd highest scoring team in the East) even better at least offensively.

Danny Granger, Mike Dunleavy JR (20+ PPG scorers)
Troy Murphy (14-17+ PPG scorer & he could do it all in beastly fashion)
TJ Ford (15 PPG)
Brandon Rush (Has the makings of a solid NBA scorer)
Earl Watson (Has always been considered a solid scorer/PG backup)

Dahntay Jones (Not double digit scorer of yet, but his athleticism and Indiana preaching the open court would result in a lot of easy baskets for Jones. He is the most athletic player in Indiana, which in Denver was arguably JR Smith)

Tyler Hansbrough (Will not be what he was like in the NCAA, but he has 10-13+ PPG potential)

Roy Hibbert (Ditto of what I said about Hansbrough)
Travis Diener (seldom used sharpshooter)

-Luther Head - (Career high 30 points, hits 3's)

Defensively, I think they got better too. Cause, Watson has always been known as a solid defender at the PG position. Dahntay Jones is more known for his defense than his offense, I don't know much about Solomon Jones but word on the street at least word from the Bird (Larry Bird) that is says he can defend well, and Jeff Foster has always been seen as underrated by me in what he does. He doesn't score much nor does he shoot much, but he can give you 6 points a game and more importantly what he does great in is he is a overly tough and physical defender who takes lip from nobody and he has been 1 of the best rebounds per 48 minute players for years now.

I think they can sneak into the playoffs as an 8th seed that will kill them folks in Miami.

I would take:

Indiana:

PG. TJ FORD
SG. DUNLEAVY
SF. GRANGER
PF. MURPHY
C. FOSTER
6. Watson
7. Rush
8. Jones
9. Hansbrough
10. Head
11. Hibbert
12. Diener

-Over-

Miami:

PG. CHALMERS
SG. WADE
SF. BEASLEY
PF. HASLEM
C. O'NEAL
6. Richardson
7. Cook
8. Jones
9. Anthony
10. Quinn
11. Diawara
12. Magloire

Plus, Jim O'Brien > Erik Spolestra

Not only is Jim O'Brien more experienced than Spolestra, but O'Brien's coaching has virtually gone unappreciated for his entire professional career. I mean this is the same coach that gained the trust and made them play in a way that best fitted their strengths of that same Paul Pierce led Celtics team that won the Atlantic Division and found themselves in the ECF against the Nets a few years back.

Boston lost that series, but not before Boston made the greatest comeback in NBA playoff history led by Paul Pierce virtually a one man team for the fact that Antoine Walker came and went in inconsistent fashion. Just to force a Game 7. O'Brien's coaching style played a big part in that as well as playing a big part that the Celtics even made the playoffs in those years.

I think Jim O'Brien is a better coach than Doc Rivers. If O'Brien had still been coach of the Celtics now. Not only would they be champions, but they would never struggle as much as they do against O'Brien's bread n butter uptempo systems. Boston has struggled with Atlanta and Chicago. When O'Brien is up there after Mike D'Antoni and Don Nelson as the great offensive coaches of the game. Doc Rivers was mediocre at best.
