Stephen Jackson wants a trade?!?!?!?!

This is ridiculous! I mean, I like Cap'n Jack, but I am outraged by this! He is the team captain and the best player, if he wants to get to the playoffs lead them there channel the veterans and encourage the young guys. I mean he wants to go to Rockets, Spurs, Cavs, or Knicks. What would his impact be on those teams, the Warriors might be the only team he can shine with. Stephen needs to be the leader the bay area knows he is. Nevertheless, I think he will come around and stick with the Warriors this season and, if they make the playoffs which they probably will, stay around for atleast 2-3 more years.

Yeah, he said he wanted to be on a team that would be in the playoffs for the rest of his career for a chance at a championship.

That is going to be difficult considering these "championship teams" are trying to make cap space for 2010 when a crapload of good free agents are available. He might as well stay in GS or go to a small market team that has a slim chance of landing a big name in 2010.

why would they do that?

cause maggette is overpaid and if Jack wants out let him go. we have young talent. ill take the cap room cause then the owner will be able to sell the team cause there wont be any debt
