Does anybody know what's wrong with my 2k11?

It was working an hour ago then I went outside to play balll. I came back in and now the screen freezes at the picture of all 30 teams, even though I can still hear the "he took flight..." speech they have.

Then one time in the 20 times I resarted the game I pressed x over and over again I got to the start screen, pressed start and the game froze on the "Loading HDD screen..."

I cleaned the disc twice, once with toothpaste.... anybody know what hte problem is? Am I gonna need to buy a new game? Cause no way in hell am I gonna last with no NCAA football 11(disapeared) and no 2k11

toothpaste gets rid of scratches... but anyway.... what the hell is wrong with my game

Maybe it's your system. Did you check what's up with the Ram and cPU when running the game? If not then reinstall the game.

I don't play on the computer though, I play on the Ps3.

did you try playing other games on the sytem? are they fine?
Do you see any scratched on the CD? Perhaps might be the disc reader.

Also if the CD is a copy it's normal to freeze after some time.

I tried Madden and it's working fine and I couldn't see any scratches but I cleaned the disc pretty well. I got it new so it's not copied. Guess I'm just gonna have to buy a new one

Did you try deleting all the 2k11 save files and all components inside the console and trying again?

I'd recommend getting a friend 2k11 disc and try if it works. If it does then u need a new game if not then there is probably an error in the save file or cacha.

That's a good idea. I'll try that out some time today or this weekened. If it doesnt work i'll try the delete thing, if that doesnt work i'll jut buy a new game.
