Eastern Conference Playoffs Set

No matter what happens today and tomorrow, the seeds are set in the East.

#1 Chicago Bulls vs. #8 Indiana Pacers
The Pacers return to the Playoffs for the 1st time since 2006. The Bulls continue their string of playoff appearances which is their 6th in their last 7 years, but they've only won one playoff series in this entire time. Though almost everyone blindly assumes the Bulls will win under the leadership of Derrick Rose, the Pacers have nothing to lose and everything to gain in this series, and the Bulls quite frankly have quite a bit to lose.

#2 Miami Heat vs. #7 Philadelphia 76ers
The Heatles had a great regular season by most team's standards, which was expected. However, they won 57 games so far and will win no more than 58, which is 15 wins short of their expected win total of 73 which would've one upped Mike. The Sixers have the same core they had last year and have improved a lot under the leadership of Doug Collins. They lost all three games against them this year, but this is playoff basketball now, and anything can happen. GO SIXERS!

#3 Boston Celtics vs. #6 NY Knicks
This is arguably the most marquee series in the 1st round thus far. Boston Three Party against the Knicks' new three of Amare, Melo, and Six Three Chauncey. This is a series that will either be a sweep for Boston or a seven game thriller, which will boost ratings.

#4 Orlando Magic vs. #5 Atlanta Hawks
Two Southeast Rivals get to play against each other here. The Hawks hope they can advance to the 2nd round for the third straight year and they have a young athletic core that has the ability to do just that. However, the Magic have big Dwight who is intent on becoming the next Shaq for this playoff run.

I go for the Sixers to beat the Heat 4-1. I just don't like Miami, especially LeBron.
