In the final Four:
The Northeast Winner Goes against the Southeast Winner
The Northwest Winner Goes against the Southwest Winner
Northeast Regional Final David Stern may not be liked, but he earned his respect beating three notable men's basketball figures. Okay, his first round was kind of a gimme. John Wall has flexed to the left and threw money out his hands to beat three notable women's basketball figures who are all among the best in the sport, and needed a comeback to topple over Geno.
Southeast Regional Final
The Zenmaster is loved by Lakers fans and by Bulls fans too and he's beaten two great coaches and one of the NBA's rising stars. Though most people believe that a point guard makes the best coach, he was a forward/center for two Knicks championship teams. Kemba beat a WNBA coach and the Dirk of the WNBA before whooping "The Traitor".
Northwest Regional Final
Both of these guys won four championships in their leagues. Duncan has been a cinderella in seed number only, by winning over one of the newest owners in the NBA, a WNBA superstar, and college basketball's winningest coach. Now he finally takes on men's college basketball's most respected coach.
Southwest Regional Final
This is the only Regional with a 1 and a 2 seed meeting in the Final. Kobe has had it easy against a WNBA coach with only one winning season, an NBA center he baptized (though he also got posterized later), and a college coach who goes for his 3rd NCAA title tonight. Rose beat out an All American Dukie, and two NBA All Stars.
